The D&D/Magic The Gathering crossover book Lorywn: First Light has been released over on D&D Beyond.

Lorwyn-Shadowmoor is a MtG plane which switches between its night and day aspects ever 300 years. Lorwyn is the 'day' aspect and has strong fey influences and does not feature humans.

The digital-only release includes the Lorwyn Changeling (which differs from Eberron Changeling in interesting ways) and Rimekin (an ice-person) species, and two new elven lineages: Lorwyn elf and Shadowmoor elf. Feats are Shadowmoor Hexer and Child of the Sun (tied to Lorwyn Expert and Shadowmoor Expert backgrounds).

You can grab Lorwyn: First Light on D&D Beyond for $14.99.

Nah, that’s a disadvantage too, because it allows them to make changes on the sly.
Well, it's an advantage to anyone who buys a hard copy book if this material gets repressed down the line. And they fixed it quickly, so people who paid to playtest did not wait long, I guess.

oooh! Lorwyn gets a Podling chorus!!

I would love to see a Dark Crystal set or even adding Gelflings and Skeksis to Lorwyrn
I believe they're repurposing the Podlings to represent Kithkin (one of the iconic Lorwyn Kindred –– essentially the prototype for 2014's janky proportioned Halflings but MtG insists they're not Halflings and only uses that creature type for the D&D and Middle-earth sets).

The Boggarts seem new to me, designed specfically to represent Lorwyn-Shadowmoor's home variety of Goblins.

I thought the same thing though – was half-wishing we'd get a Universes Within microset with Lorwyn representing The Dark Crystal. But I thought we'd get that for Redwall or NIMH a year and change ago with Bloomburrow, or for Ghostbusters in Duskmourn: Hosue of Horror. Or TFATF in Aetherdrift! I think people just didn't love the Transformers in their The Brothers' War boosters nor Jurassic World in their The Lost Caverns of Ixalan boosters, and there are limited opportunities in any given set. I'm surprised we didn't get a Secret Lair Drop to tie in these classic UBs to their related sets.

Maybe the upcoming Star Trek originated as a tie-in to last year's Edge of Eternities (a space opera set), and they decided instead to expand it into a full Standard-legal premiere set release.
