The old stories are there and, frankly, are so jammed with bonus explanations of what every minor character was doing during the original trilogy era, there's not really much left worth detailing. (We don't need to see the Many Bothans version of Rogue One, for instance.)

It is too late now but I would have LOVED a Dark Empire film in 1999.

Andor convinced me that there is a huge amount of great Occupied Paris style war espionage stuff to mine in the OT era. Give me spy stories and the rebellion "Dirty Dozen" and all those great WW2 tropes in space.

I think if we start making + threads about problematic people, we're going to see + threads simply shut down on this site.

Some of us are able to separate the content from the make and we should have a thread to discuss that content without worrying about the creator. Even if it's more recent content and a still living creator.

She's literally said if you support her, she's using the funds a certain way. It's political whether you want to admit it or not. It's just entertainment, and people refuse to quit it to do funding hate. There are millions of books and hours of television that don't fund hate.

I'll watch this and hope they stay close to the source material. With more time they can dig deeper though that really isn't going to start becoming more necessary until around the 4th book.

On topic: I wonder if they will manage to get a season out each year in order to keep up with the age of the child actors and not pull a Stranger Things.
