Fighting the Gray Tide (Miniature Painting)

Q: What colour should I paint the "fabric" that is around his shoulders, tail and dangly bit at the front (a dino sporran?)? Also, should I go for a gold for the armour, I was thinking of trying to do a dark jade colour... thoughts?

Oh, I see. I paint a dinosaur and suddenly you just happened to pick up a dinosaur man? I think jade and gold would make for nice colors. I could see jade or gold for the armor working equally well. You have a lot of interesting textures on that model to work with.

Remember the guy with the nice face a few posts above? Well he got old fast, I'm on to a new shiny...

3d printed this dino guy (75mm scale), took a good 7.5 hours just for body and then some for the arms and base and am TRYING to paint him half decent... this is what I have so far...

Something outrageously bright. Preferrably in metallics.

It isn’t that often I paint two miniatures that are so similar. The big one is a triceratops made by Pegasus Models I painted a few years ago. The smaller is a Reaper mini I painted a few days ago.

I used the same colors, even the exact same Army Painter yellow,

Beautiful...maybe the horns and spikes on big one less yellow and more bone, like the little one?
