I'm wondering whether you mean AD&D as in the 1/2e game carried on into an AD&D 3e (seperate to D&D 3/4e)? If nothing else I'd find it really interesting to see what they could come up with. Perhaps they could incorporate 2e with the best of its fluff and splat, keep the character classes...

I actually fear I may be more of a casual gamer than my players. They add feats and classes to their characters (D&D 3.5) that I have to go check for in the books they bring. Even basic combat sometimes takes me more rules-checking than some of the other people at the table.

Perhaps its the obvious answer but the Internet. Sites in order of time-suck: two or three forums, facebook, youtube, wikipedia and lastfm. Factor in Google searches and checking emails and I'm pretty much online 24/7 (all my jobs have involved web development, go figure).
