Power Creep - slowly in books, quickly in on-line content. Loads more rituals, monsters, traps, classes, equipment, races, magic items, psionics, powers and class options. Too many for any sane DM to keep track off. Later on - optional rules for combat actions, alternative magic systems...

It'll have to have rocket packs, vulture men, zepplins, cowboys with chainsaws, centaur-motorbikes, giant robots, dragons with lasers, naked cat-girls with mini-guns and probably a soundtrack of old school metal.

Havern't played it - but I had similar fears. I guess it depends how depleted the PCs are from the boss kobold encounter. It seems like 4e PCs can handle a lot though.

But if FLGS become clean, family-friendly, nice places then where will all the socially-maladjusted teen geeks cruise for fanboi fights & foil rares?

Do people use humans often enough?

The main problem with point-buy by the book is that you can't have a stat lower than 8. This needs to be changed.
