No offense to Matt and his crew, but I'm still a GR guy at heart. ESPECIALLY after the preview for it AND the fact it will be interlinked with Paradigm's Giant book.

I'll be buying Hammer and Helm, but only as i playtested quint dwarf so i'm pretty sure i'll be getting that anyway (and it's cool!)

Yet to check out Bad Axe's Dwarf book to see if it wets my tastebuds.... but basically anything Elven or Dwarven i tend to buy

I'm not planning on chasing down any of the racial books. Been there with 2E, done that. :)

Besides, whatever I end up doing with Dwarves and Elves and all the rest ends up being mine anyways, and not based on a sourcebook. I've enjoyed the series they've run in Dragon, which gives me some ideas, but I'm not going to chase down multiple book lines, even for my fav, Elves, let alone Dwarves. :)

I'm with Ashtal, except I took a miss on the 2E race books as well.

It's not that race books in general bug me or anything, and I'm certain all these books feature talented writers and brim over with great ideas. It's three things really:

* Don't wanna return to 2E Rules Sprawl
* Wanna develop My Own Ideas
* Can't afford ($) to get addicted to d20 supplements :D

YMMV of course. May the best dwarf book win! ;)

i will purchase every single thing i ever see about dwarves until the day i die. my terrible scottish accent will be heard for untold decades as my characters swing their ever larger axes. (imagine if you will kreden blackstone, the two weapon fighter with monkey grip: great axe and a str of 22! woo. really though 3 books is a little much even for the greatest of all dnd races. then there will be the WotC book whenever it comes out. i will probably buy the green ronin one first because i have 0 gr stuff, and am currently mad at mongoose (nice people but their products do not fit my game at all. living blade, BAH!) though, their character concept idea is a freaking brilliant way to keep some of the 2e kits without more bloody prestige classes! not every single thing is worthy of a prc.

I just saw the Bad Axe dwarf book. This is one I'd gladly spend the money ($10) on. It's virtually all crunchy bits, with almost no fluff, and in my opinion it's damn good.

I'll check out Green Ronin's as well; it'll be interesting to see what differs and complements the Bad Axe book.
