The Best Team Showdown!

26. Charlie's Angels

Charlie's Angels was a television series broadcast from 1976 to 1981, about three women who work for a fictional private investigation agency, the Charles Townsend Agency. Their boss, Charlie (voiced by John Forsythe), was never seen — except in some episodes from the rear only (where the viewer only sees the back of his head and his arms) and on the series finale where he appears in surgeon's mask and outfit — and contacted them only by phone.

The three original "angels" were played by Kate Jackson, Farrah Fawcett-Majors, and Jaclyn Smith. Later, when a character left (because the actress went on to other projects, etc) another "angel" was brought on to keep the number at three: Cheryl Ladd, Shelley Hack, and Tanya Roberts also starred as angels. David Doyle played Charlie's assistant, Bosley.

Angels from TV show:

* Sabrina Duncan (1976-1979), played by Kate Jackson
* Kelly Garrett (1976-1981), played by Jaclyn Smith
* Jill Munroe (1976-1977), played by Farrah Fawcett
* Kris Munroe (1977-1981), played by Cheryl Ladd
* Tiffany Welles (1979-1980), played by Shelley Hack
* Julie Rogers (1980-1981), played by Tanya Roberts

He just wanted to avoid someone nominating the nine-member group "The Fellowship of the Ring," because he was afriad they would be run away winners. ;)

Heh. Surely that ain't gonna be a problem in a poll that includes the Dinobots and The A Team. We may as well just decide now how Hannibal's boys are gonna beat the Dino Dudes.

and i figured we were going towards Avengers - JLA.

So what's the deal. Can i nominate the Legion or not? Theyre one of the best teams of all time, at some points there roster was smallish, at some points it was ...welll...LEGION.
And what about GI JOE?
But I own a flight ring. (I also wish I knew where my Avengers membership card was.)

I'm assuming Voltron is 29, ATHF is 30. And that FF and Incredibles need a real nominaton.
so here

31. Fantastic Four
Fantastic4.jpg

When Reed Richards, his girlfriend Sue Storm, her brother Johnny, and Reed's best friend Ben Grimm take a rocket into space, they are bombarded with cosmic rays, and after crashing back to Earth, they find out they now have fantastic powers.
Reed can stretch his body like rubber and calls himself Mr. Fantastic.
Sue can become invisible and make force fields. She's known as the Invisible Girl.
Johnny can turn his body into a Human Torch.
And Ben is stuck in the super-strong rock-like Thing.
More than just a super-hero team, they are a family, and were the first super-heroes to show any signs of personality and not always being perfect and getting along. But while they fight with each other, they love each other like family, and that bond keeps them strong.
Others have joined the team for short periods (She-Hulk, Luke Cage, Ms. Marvel II, Medusa and more) but Reed, Sue, Johnny and Ben are truly a Fantastic Four.

32. Incredibles
incredibles.jpg

Much like the Fantastic Four, the Incredibles are a family.
Bob Parr is Mr. Incredible. He's superstrong. Sound familiar?
Helen Parr is his wife, Elastigirl. She stretches. That also sounds familiar
Violet Parr is their daughter, who has the ability to turn invisible and make force fields. That really sounds familiar.
Dash Parr is their son, he's got super speed. Hmm, not as familiar. never mind then.
The family reached new levels of togetherness when brought together battling the evil Syndrome. Someday soon, the youngest child Jack Jack might join the fray.

And more from me.

33. Pinky and the Brain

They're Pinky and the Brain
Yes, Pinky and the Brain
One is a genius, the other's insane.
They're laboratory mice, their genes have been spliced.
They're dinky..they're Pinky and the Brain Brain Brain Brain Brain

Before each night is done, their plan will be unfurled
By the dawning of the sun, they'll take over the world.

They're Pinky and the Brain
Yes, Pinky and the Brain
Their twilight campaign, is easy to explain.
To prove their mousey worth, they'll overthrow the Earth
They're Pinky...Pinky and the Brain Brain Brain Brain Brain.
NARF!

Brain has plans of world domination, and his friend Pinky might just be a telepath (are you thinking what I'm thinking? Poit!) . They haven't suceeded yet, but what will they do tomorrow night? The same they do EVERY night... TRY TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD!

34. The Three Musketeers
thethreemusketeersmainpage2.gif

Athos, Porthos, Aramis and D'Artagnan. Buckle your swashes. These four are the epitome of why swords are cool, and why we're here on ENWorld. Or maybe just me.
Or maybe I just have a thing for Kiefer Sutherland and Charlie Sheen.
