OOC: Uh, just checking - isn't that an ogre standing next to Tharok?

'fraid so. in spiked full plate, even. Piece of cake for Razh. But more specifically, Banion's stated move would draw an AoO.

Talbin shoots a sling bulelt at one of the orcs (#34) and moves forward to k15, back into hiding.
ooc: attack roll: 23, damage: 7. Rolls are here
Miss chance due concealment: hit
Hide check: 17

ooc: Oh, that's an Ogre? I thought is was the blast radius for the glitterdust. In that case, Banion will tumble in. Let me check the map, then I'll post again with specifics.

On the plus side, Banion is incapable of failing a tumble check against a single opponent even on a 1.

With the tumble costing double movement, I guess Banion's stab will be on the Ogre rather than on Tharok. He'll get as close to his intended destination as he can imagine, although with the existing map I'm not sure where that is, since I'm not sure as to whether the green squares have added movement cost, and I'm not 100% sure which four squares the Ogre is in.

Round 7 (10:35:36 am)

Banion dashes through the woods, tumbling after the fleeing spellcaster, and staight into a heavily armored ogre. Behind the ogre is a open-backed cart pulled by two heavy horses. The brave halfling stabs through the plate armor and deep into the ogre's flesh.

In the woods, Talbin can see Lothar withdraw from the orc engaging him and push deeper into the forest to the East.

From the East woods, the orc guards sweep onto the trail over the bodies of their comrades. Two close in on Juliana and Eusebius, three on Ogrin, and one on a surviving villager. They evidently don't notice Talbin hiding. One last orc grabs the reins on the rear wagon.

[does Juliana or father E get an AoO? Not sure. Juliana was prone last round, and Eusebius used his wand. In any case, they might want to change their actions]

Round 7:

Rasereit sees the fully armored ogre and almost heads towards it. But first he spins around, to see how the battlefield he just raced across is looking. Now he notices the orcs emerging from the woods, and he curses. "Hang in there, mate!" he shouts as Ogrin is swarmed by three of the brutes. Frustrated that he can't be everywhere at once, Rasereit decides he will make quick work of this newest threat.

OOC: I suppose since the ogre has reach, Rasereit provokes an attack of opportunity here. See below for AC vs ogre.

He growls and charges towards the ogre. As the dwarf runs, he almost seems to grow in girth and the earth thunders beneath his feet. His growl becomes a roar, and then a scream. In the second that it took for him to reach the ogre, Rasereit's muscles have bulged and grown significantly. He finishes his charge in a flying leap, his waraxe raised high, his eyes blood red. His axe breaks through the ogre's armor and cuts deep (34) into its chest, lodging itself there. (15 damage to ogre) Rasereit hangs for a moment from the ogre's chest, jerking his blade around to worsen the wound, then he plants his feet against the giant and rips his weapon out. He falls and lands in crouch, like a wild animal, ready to dart underneath the ogre's thick legs when its inevitable counterattack comes.

Rage Round 1. HP 43/71, AC 22 -2 (rage) -2 (charge) = 18 (+4 = 22 vs. ogre)

OOC: Rae, the Ogre is a giant, so don't forget that racial +4 dodge bonus vs giants...

D'oh!

Edit: I'll wait until Talbins action before deciding what to do.
