Nodis keeps concentrating on the spellcaster (or rather, at his sounds) as long as he can. The growing headache he's feeling tells him he's close to exhausting his energies, so he decides to keep the spellcaster shut instead of bringing more constructs to help battle the new orcs and the ogre - he hopes they can beat them wthout astral help.
 

Round 7 (10:35:36 am)
The ogre takes a swing at Banion, barely missing the halfling with its great axe.

Juliana decides to take down the orcs next to her before moving on to her bow. She takes a 5 foot step back, and strikes down one orc. Eusebius steps back and uses his wand to cure Juliana some more.

Movement is cut in half in the green squards. So Talbin can only move to D21. He can bring down orc 36 from there, & does so.

Razh moves up and slams his axe into the ogre, dodging the axe as he charges. Blood spews out all over its plate armor.

Nodis moves up to keep a better eye on the spellcaster, who is somewhat concealed behind bushs and the ogre. Nodis prepares to cut off his spell with more pork sounds. Unfortunately, he can't see Tharok well enough to catch him before a spell goes off. (Nodis retains a standard action, then).

Tharok does seem to cast a spell, snapping off a quick word before moving back more into the woods. (Banion - make fort save DC 15 or be blinded.) Tharok moves 15 feet into the woods, putting him at about O-4

Hugh moves around to confront the orcs threatening Ogrin and the wagon.

Round 8 (10:35:42)

Save v Blindness (1d20+4=7)

Banion is suddenly blind, leaving him in a lot of trouble!

Realizing his ability to pursue Tharok has vanished, he will instead recharge his mindblade and stab at the Ogre once again. He'll assume the Ogre hasn't moved, though even if he's right there will be a 50% miss chance.

A slash in the dark (1d20+7=24, 1d6+2+1d8=4)
1=Auto miss (1d2=2)

He manages to hit the Ogre with a tiny blow.

ooc: Without his Dex bonus to AC, Banion is a sitting duck.
 

Nodis, male human shaper 5, HP 20/31, AC 16, PP 2/35

The caster out of sight, and therefore his concentration broken, Nodis is more aware of the ogre and how it can smash Razh and the halfling. He gathers ectplasm, spending almost all the enegy he's left, and throws it at the ogre as he learned to do some time ago when fighting zombies. The beast is quickly covered in goo that hardens as he tries to fight it.

ooc: Nodis is at Close range of the ogre, so he'll manifest instead Entangling Ectoplasm. He must spend 3 power points, since the ogre is Large. Touch attack is a 17, so I guess the ogre is Entangled for 5 rounds (though he's not stuck to the spot like when using a Tanglefoot bag)

"Hang on guys!" Beamer says as he moves farther from the advancing orcs and closer to Nodis. Beamer doesn't have a clear view to the enemy wizard, but he can tell close enough. He tosses more mica into the air and another explosion of dust eminates from the trees around Tharok.

OOC:
Move next to Nodis and cast Glitterdust (DC 15) on Tharok. We'll try it one more time.

Eusebius grinds his teeth, frustrated by the dribs and drabs of healing leaking from his wand. As if admonishing it, he gives it a shake, then calls forth its power again, trying to bolster Juliana's health before leaving her to deal with the remaining orcs.

Despite his imprecations, scant healing flows into Juliana's form from the mystic stick. Chewing a bitten-off grunt of rage, the cleric stows the wand as he moves away from Juliana, ending up at Beamer's right hand, where he continues to ward the doughty halfling.

OOC: Sorry, map didn't make it look like there was anything around. The new map is missing, might have to repost it.
 

"Get that wagon moving! Help the wounded! I'll deal with this filth" Ogrin yells to Hugh and the sentry as he engages the new orcs. He is ducking and weaving, but manages to surprise one of the orcs with a stab through the heart. She falls immediately, dead.

OOC: Ogrin is attacking whichever Orc that seems to be closest to flanking him. Feint 27; Attack 17; Damage 4; Sneak attack damage 7

Edit: Using Combat Reflexes, +4 AC = 27.

Nodis entangles the armored ogre in a coat of goo.

Round 8 (10:35:42)

Ogrin takes down an orc in the back of the caravan. Hugh salutes and follows his orders.

Beamer moves up and can see Tharok's glimmering figure as it recedes through the brush. He hits the area with another glitterdust spell. Tharok is again unaffected (I think I used the wrong will save mod last time - his is pretty good).

Despite being blind, Banion manages to hit the ogre. He can feel the impact, and then hears a thud. (ogre is dead)

Eusebius heals Juliana again, who cuts down another orc with her guisarme.
