The assassin picks his way cautiously forward.

The males smile as they move forward, disappearing from sight into the shadows as they move. The wolves howl and move around in a wide arc, encircling their prey. They charge the hidden Murphy, striking him and knocking him to the ground before their charge. The woman laughs, “The master decreed all intruders must die”

[sblock=mechanics] Pale men move and disappear. The wolves move 8 and then charge Murphy from opposite directions 1d20+9=25 for 1d6+2=5 damage and knock prone and 1d20+12=13 (miss)

[sblock=status] The wolves and pale males have gone, so Dextyr and Janus can go in any order before the woman. Apparently the wolves can see Murphy, but no one else has indicated it and they seem ignorant of the adjacent Tonk. Anyone can use a minor action to make a Perception check to determine the exact square the pale males are in, but they are actually invisible.

As the wolf knocks Murphy over, a tendril of shadow erupts from the leather armour and slams into the lupine creature as he falls to the forest floor.

Janus tracks the wolves through the undergrowth expecting them to charge the warriors in front of him, instead they leap at the previously hidden Murphy.
"I was wondering where Murphy had disapeared to" Janus mumbles to himself as he bar of freezing ice lances out, smashing into the nearest wolf freezing him solid in mid flight.

I'm no warlord, but I'd like to reclaim our strikers and allow them to move around with the group's support. I would like to move forward until we have reached Murphy and Tonk. That's just my opinion, I've been wrong before. [/sblock]
 

Dextyr strides forward the wolf by Murphy, draws his longsword and takes a swing. Letting out a warcry as he swings, his sword connects with its target (OOC: or so I would assume....)

I agree that we should try and keep our formation as much as possible, but we cannot let the strikers get too far away. Most of my 'leader' power only work within 5 squares, so I need to be in the thick of things.

Murphy's armor causes the wolf to yelp in pain. The icy ray from Janus and the longsword of Dextyr, bloody the beast. The woman moves closer, calmly through the forest. She reaches out her hand and shadows from around the trees circle Dextyr's head and engulf it in blackness. He seems somewhat blinded as they swirl around him.

[sblock=mechanics] If Janus wants to ready a move action to follow Larinza he can. That might also move him to after the woman so basically all the PCs act at the same time.
Pale woman, moves to N18 and use ranged attack on Dextyr 1d20+11=31 (crit) for 16 necrotic damage and he has no line of sight to anything more than 2 squares from him (save ends).
