I think my jaw spent the whole of that battle on the floor. Book fans have been waiting a long dang time for the moment when Daenerys and her forces face off against the armies of the Seven Kingdoms.

I liked how most of the episode was spent on quieter personal moments and character development, and then it just unloaded everything at the end.

Dracarys!!

Definitely the best episode of Game of thrones ever and not just because of the epic battle scene that effectively balanced army vs army action with close in character moments, and Bron being badass!

All the character interaction were on point but my favourite scene was the Arya-Bran reunion, both Know secrets not meant for mundane mortals and as a team they could be truly terrifying, as was framed by Sansa in the background with the nervous realisation that Arya really does have a list - gold!

Totally agree. Even more than that, it was a battle where I found myself rooting for both sides at the same time, which goes to show just how great the character development of each person involved has been.

And the Arya v Brienne encounter was an even better battle. I think they both learned a lot there. Now if they could just have the two fight together.

TV is now at a pint wherever it can do a live action Dragonlance. That was awesome.

Though Jaime got saved at the last possible second twice. He should be dead twice over.
