Emmyr took a step forward to meet the zombie and slashed at it with both of his axes. The first axe dug deep into the flesh, but the second was thrown off as the undead staggered under the power of the first blow.

"Why do we always need to rush into combat instead of doing things from afar? Do you and the dragonborn feel less manly if you dispatch the pirates with balistas instead of boarding?"

"But hurts more and we waste time, will, resources and blood on stupid zombies! Instead on the cause for them." Zanword replies.

OOC: only two of the things...I believe we're in no danger, but I would hate random crit to force me to heal when we just rested...and why do I have to be the paladin who has nothing against undead!? I can turn fey, but not undead :)

Templeton's dagger buries itself deep into the eye socket of the zombie killing it just as Hexiros's halberd cuts it nearly in two. Bekah not wanting the boys to have all the fun steps up and pushes past the dragonborn releasing two darts at the last zombie.

Or what she thought was the last zombie. The door to the nearest cell opens noisily and hangs by a single hinge as two more creatures shamble out and into the corridor. The movement of Rana draws one, while the other moves up behind the rogue.

"AAIIIEEEE!" Rana's scream echoes through the halls. She falls and the zombie looks like it is about to take to feasting on the old witch. Gwylla is there and seems to be in shock for the moment.

Zanword was prepared for the zombie in front of him and brings his shield up to fend off the beast. Templeton is surprised as he is jumped from behind by sharp fingernails that dig lightly into his cheek before he can jump away.

Templeton adds his own shrill scream at the surprise appearence of more zombies and quickly manuevers out of the undead's reach holding his wounded cheek. "Me face, me beautiful face!" he cried in a panic.

OOC: Reaction to enemy ending its turn adjacent to Templeton to use skirmisher and move to M14. This does not provoke OA. Will wait on doing his actual turn until others go.

Zanword pulls out the sword and slashes at the zombie remaing in front of him.
"I'll get this one, go help Templeton. Watch for the splatter of zombies from womenfold direction."

The paladin shudders at the thought of enraged Aridha if Rana is seriously hurt. And the old witch wasn't remotely benign if pressed. But he is worried and half-turns to check the status keeping the shield in front. And immediately curses as the sword clangs into the column, sticking for the merest of moments into a crevice and turning in his hand.

He tries to compensate, but the swing is too awkward and without power.
