WotC's Chris Perkins offers a quick hint at an upcoming D&D storyline based on four old monster pictures --"Strange though it may seem, it's looking like these monsters will have pivotal roles to play in a future D&D story." The pictures of of the Froghemoth, the Zorbo, the Flail Snail, and the Kamadan.

I recognise the Froghemoth, the Zorbo, the Flail Snail, but not the fourth. It's not a thessalhydra but perhaps something of that ilk?

While I would love a Rod of Seven Parts adventure, Methinks it will be a Barrier Peaks adventure. That also sounds fun, and given the recent UA of Modern stuff, and this particular menagerie, I'll stick with Barrier Peaks until further notice. Its definitely a grognardiapalooza and one that hasn't really been re-done before in a meaningful way.

Roger that Ghost Rider. I think we'll be off on an expedition to yon peaks that seem to form some sort of terrestrial barrier. Phooy on that walk about to find that mage in the green town.
