D&D General Horror or Murder Mystery Set in a Noble Villa?

I'm looking for suggestions for published adventures with horror or mystery themes set in a mansion, castle, villa, etc.

Basically, I think my group may wind up at the party thrown by the—SPOILER ALERT, WATERDEEP DRAGON HEIST—Cassalanters where 100 guests will be sacrificed to Asmodeus. If there's any published work out there that I could use for inspiration or framework, I'd love to check it out.

Cassalanters where 100 guests will be sacrificed to Asmodeus.

Off the top of my head I cant think of one, but just do a google search for a random noble villa map, go with the premise "The Butler Did It" and you should be all set.

Wasnt Castle Amber based on a dinner party in a manor house?

I was hoping that maybe there would be a Ravenloft or even Call of Cthulu adventure that would fit.

Dragon Magazine #35 (I believe) has a haunted mansion mystery module called 'The Ghost of Mistmoor Manor'.

It was originally a 2E adventure, but conversion should be easy enough since it's a mystery and not a big combat scenario.

I know a few published adventures with this setting, but I don't quite understand the plan--are you wanting an adventure that takes place in a noble mansion and also can include the sacrifice of 100 guests as part of or alongside the story? Because most of the adventures that leap to mind go in directions that would make that part difficult.

This one might be an option, though, with a bit of tweaking:

It's still a bit vague, to be honest. What I'd like is to have a creepy, atmospheric adventure where the players have to figure out a mystery. And, in the end, the big reveal is Mass Sacrifice. Like Wickerman but on a much larger scale.

One of the ideas I had was to make it a kind of double mystery. Perhaps one of the guests shows up dead. Players try to figure who killed him and why. Turns out he had discovered the Cassalanters' plan.

Thanks fo the suggestion. I'll check it out.
