I noticed that one of the BBC world service news people takes really obvious breaths during pauses... and now I can't unhear them for any of the other people on the air.

BBC needs to get their folks better technical setups. There's a reason you don't hear that most of the time with other broadcasters.

Sugar. It's a subtle, insidious killer. I want to see my blood pressure rocket and feel the catastrophic heart attack knock on the door. Preferably, I'd explode like a character in some 80s anime.

It seems like its mostly the newscasts. I went through several of the podcasts just now and didn't find any that stuck out.
First minute of this one has several.

I don't think this is the person that got me to notice it though, and that there was one that was more noticeable, but I don't remember who it was.
