“The PC had sex with a bear” is the stuff of r/RPGhorrorstories, not an actual plot line from the single most popular D&D video game of all time.
Good thing that isn't the actual plotline then. It's a druid who gets the chance to indulge in their consensual kink, only should you choose to.

I mean, the Forgotten Realms have far kinkier stuff confirmed by Ed Greenwood himself. I really don't see why this is so appalling to people.

In hindsight, you might also be bemoaning other people reductively recounting what happens in the game. If that's the case, apologies for my harsh tone.

A true fan must not just love unconditionally, but also hate without reservation. Every day the true fan's attention will turn, like the shine on a school of fish, all at once, to a new subject to hate. Sometimes the ire will be directed at the latest release of a movie about a character from the wrong comic book universe, but other times the hate will be directed at someone who has made a heinous substitution in guacamole.
This is the essence of True Fandom: find the thing you didn't care for in the thing you love very much, and complain loudly about it until your eyes grow dim and the sun grows cold.

The only thing that will survive the heat death of the universe is True Fans complaining about The Last Jedi.
Maybe you are right. But I prefer to think that it will be the brewmasters

At the last moments of the universe, with eternal darkness converging from all sides, surely someone will arise and cry out: ‘Hold back the end for a final moment, while I pay tribute to the gallant brewmasters who have provided us a pathway of golden glory down the fading corridors of time!’ And then, is it not possible that a bright gap will appear in the dark, through which the brewmasters are allowed to proceed, to build a finer universe?
