Its funny, I had three issues of Dragon back in the 1e era, but two of them had Greyhawk god articles and the included art and the expanded descriptions had a big impact on me on how evocative I feel the Greyhawk gods are. It is pretty shocking how they did not reuse the art in the '83 boxed set. Rereading the '83 boxed set god entries they are much drier mostly focused on the gods as NPC stat blocks with a bit about extra cleric powers.

Yes, some of this art is amazing and really grabbed me, even when I wasn't as much into the setting.
