Its weird when in some cases you end up there without even remembering engaging with them though; you have to assume at some point something about one of your posts, whether it was point or demeanor, just did not go well as far as they were concerned.
I think the reciprocal ignore is itself also a choice. Unless the feature has changed, it's up to the ignorer if they want to become invisible to whoever they're blocking. I believe the intended use case for two-way Ignore is to shut down stalking, but how people actually use it is up to them.
