Anyone wondering about VTT support should know CR/DP are in talks with several VTTs about running Daggerheart.

That’s awesome news. Lack of VTT support is the one thing holding me back right now. While I’d love to play face to face with this, it’s a geographical impossibility with my group. I don’t even need a premium module…just a rules framework and character sheets (as a minimum) would do.

Of course, I’d happily buy a fully fleshed out Foundry module as well…:)

I know some of the people prepared to do a Foundry module right now are salty as heck because it's not allowed in the license but considering how many fan-run modules that are abandoned when the author plays something else or falling behind as Foundry updates — not to mention how Critical Role has gotten flack for fan labour in the past — I think official and paid work makes sense.

(Free League pay their Foundry authors but it's also sidework so not always quick to update. The Cyberpunk Red is fan-run and lagging behind and don't work in 12+. 2d20 systems are all over the place, some are updated, some are abandoned as far back as v7.)

I saw somebody saying that there was some intent to add more Locations like the Sablewood one created for the beta/quickstart, but they didn't make it. Kinda halfway between an Environment and a Frame, and I guess what you might actually stitch together to make a full "setting." Would be neat to see some PDF additions with material like this (in part because they got such good art), kind of the way how Fabula Ultima has a set of inspirational locations in each of their Atlases.

It's a good way to set up an area, although clearly you'd want to condense for personal use.

Yoinking the Bullfrog to use for my re-skinned Moathouse, and the Bandit Hideout and Underroot Tunnels are excellent examples of "Dungeon" style environments!

Like, this is perfect stuff to turn into a themed dungeon:

Hidden Entrance - Passive: The first challenge of the Underroot Tunnels is finding them. PCs must complete a Progress Countdown (3) to find a viable entrance to the tunnels (Instinct and Knowledge are most applicable, though Finesse could be used to search manually for a seam or switch and Presence could be used to gain information from a denizen of the Sablewood).
How do they camouflage the tunnels so well? What traps might they leave in the way?

A Series of Passageways, All Alike - Passive: Navigating to a particular location in the tunnels requires a Progress Countdown (4 for most known settlements, 6 for less well-known or more-remote destinations). Potential Challenges include identical passageways, damaged stairwells leading to a lower level, root blockage, flooded tunnel.
How was this place built to purposefully confuse outsiders? How are patrols run within the tunnels?

Root Blockage - Action: Reveal that the path ahead has been blocked by the shifting of a great Sablewood tree. The party can dig around the root (Finesse), try to cut through it (Strength), or double back to find another path (Instinct).

Hmmm.....

Just checked, Daggerheart completely sold out on Amazon. That's pretty surprising, but in a good way for Darrington / CR.

Wouldn't have suspected even Amazon would run out of stock.

Guess I'll just have to wait for next printing.
A friend was able to order it from Barnes and Noble yesterday.

So what would be a good Community feature for something like a City/Townborne? Order/Sly/Wild/etc all assume a lot about the specific cultural touchstones at play that I think are a little limiting; I bought in Toilborne as other have suggested to cover being from a rural/farming/herding/etc lifestyle in a pastoral place but it feels like there need to be some sort of equivalent for built-up areas.

Cityborne might be navigating and finding specific places to stock up on supplies? After all, you can find anything in a big city.

Hm, looks like "you have advantage on a handful of rolls" is a pretty common Ancestry thing. Highborne already has a "negotiate prices" one though.

Streetwise: You have advantage on rolls to find your way in urban environments, find the best places for gossip, and navigate day to day bureaucracy.

Not sure on that 3rd one.
