OOC: aww, but, but, but, come on Andrinor really has to pee!:p
And again, I must ask, does anyone have KNOCK prepared????
Maybe if we cant figure something out, we should wait till some drow come on and slip in behind them.... Just sme suggestions.

Ishahn barely conceals a loud laugh at the mention of urinating on the ropes, though he too has heard that such a thing would help.

Taking his Crowbar from his backpack, the Dwarf moves up to lend a hand, as well as to have a better look at those doors

"Question, if we break in, they are going to know we went in, which means any element of surprise is lost. Of course we'll lose that when we leave them writhing in their entrails, but that predisposes we find them on our first attempt,"
looks at the Dwarves, "Are they stuck or just really, really heavy? And no, I don't have a Knock scroll before you ask."

Andrinor carefully looks at the RIGHT skeleton sculpture, looking for any buttons, levers, or anything that might open a door.

Ishan manages to see between the crack between the doors, and with his darkvision sees something is holding them shut, likely a rope or a chain. The crack is too thin to fit anything but a dagger, but it probably could be prised open.

Andrinor notices nothing interesting on the skeletal sculpture. It appears that it has been there for a very long time though.

Ishahn moves forward with the Crowbar, looking for any purchace that would allow the doors to be forced.

Addressing Cain 'Brother cain, D'ye see a spot to put this honest tool ta good use?'

Gais'forth will take a 20ft step back (or far enough out that there is nothing above him to fall on him), get out his bow, notch an arrow and get ready to provide covering fire if it looks like being necessary.

Cain and Ishan get to work on the door while Gais'forth covers them. It's hard work prising the doors open, but the stout dwarves manage it after some time. The chain holding the doors shut snaps, sending the doors flying outwards and the dwarves to the ground.

Gais'forth quickly scans the entrance for signs of enemies. He spots nothing of immediate concern, although his keen eyes see five dead drow lying in the corridor just beyond the entrance.

Andrinor finds nothing of note on the other statue.

Gais'foth speaks quickly and quietly "Five corpses, just inside. Drow. "

["Civil War? Or something that preys on drow?"

He relaxes his grip on the arrow and slings his bow, ready to make his way down the corridor. First however, he listens and looks.

OOC: How did they die?

IC: "Careful, they might be trapped."
