I apologize again for my slow posting - I've yet again been busy with time-consuming prep for various in-store games, and very little free time outside that.

But there's good news on the horizon! My wife is starting a new job tomorrow, and we need to be up very early every day to get her there, and then I am left alone, as I don't start work until much later.

So expect regular posts from me going forward.
 


I'm confused if I lost a round. If there was a round I did nothing, can I use the sending stones to warn the other group that they are sending people to rile up the Hydra?? That would be my last use of the stones.
 



Team Caves:

Urgan is not being especially helpful, and we're few on people, and they now have more. Here's a quick run through of some possibilities, in the order I'd prefer:

1. move back 10' or so, and keep the Mercs alive. They essentially form a barrier then for the cultists, and we can focus on Siobhan and the solo Merc maybe, and then anyone else who gets through.
2. Urgan tries another illusion distraction, to sow at least another round of confusion, maybe as you kill Siobhan (can be combined with 1, keeping the Mercs alive)
3. run and escape. probably the most prudent choice right now.
4. stay and fight until the end. (differs form 1 and 2 in that we just go for it without coordinated plan).

1-3 all seem reasonable to me.
 

My original plan was to kite them. But with the stalling, I chose to attack. I kind of miscounted my movement and left myself exposed...I'd kind of meant to zip back around the corner. So, due to that misstep, I may be down this round - given my current HP.

That said, if I survive the round, I can run pretty fast as I still have 6 rounds of Jump left which is about 80 feet of movement so running is a good option.

We can run but we know one or more of the statues is ahead.

I really should read the IC before I post things here.

Anyways, I went with a combo of 1 and 3.

I wanted to keep the Mercs alive but they are preventing our escape. I took out Siobhan(unless she has a fancy power to avoid an attack) I then attacked the Mercenaries so we can do a full retreat.

If Torhak finishes the Mercs, Shamal can do a full retreat. We should all be a minimum of 30 feet from the mouth of the scrying room.

Nobody should have the movement to engage us this round. I can kite but Merrick is vulnerable to fire and acid attacks so he needs to be able to round corners so they can't fire on him. He gets free attacks on anyone who is within 10 feet.

Maybe An illusion can be used to give us some cover??
