2002 - Year of the Drow. So what should 2003 be?

Do I even need to say it? ;)

I may not be switching to D&D 3.5 (Crossposted)

I think it says an awful lot about D&D 3E when there are gamers who wouldn't want to play 3.5E without some kind of computer support. And you guys wonder why I like OD&D so much. ;)

Adult: Guide to Unlawful Carnal Knowledge

If it makes you feel any better, not all D&D "Dark Elves" are black-skinned. Classic D&D 's Mystara setting has no Drow in it, but the subterranean Shadow Elves were all white skinned just like you'd expect. Also, they were a bit more three-dimensional in the sense that while they were enemies...

    The Custom Hero 1.0 Available

Ditto to everything jonrog1 already said, and then some. I'm already looking forward to the supplements you mentioned, and I hope that we'll see a 3E adaptation at some point -- "The Custom Fantasy Hero" maybe? In the meantime, please, keep up the good work! :D

    Vampire as PrC

Well, the last "Creature Crucible" for OD&D was "Night Howlers", which effectively made lycanthropes multi-class characters. (For instance, you could be a Fighter 6/Werewolf 5.) As with other monster classes in OD&D, as the character levelled up he or she got access to more of the creature's...

Tome of Horrors - The Art (oh the horrors!)

Nutkinland? Now there's a cesspool to avoid. It was an intesting fringe group at one time, but the board has been taken over by walking egos chestbeating and grandstanding. Isn't that right, Psion? ;)

[Nostalgia, Poll of sorts] IF you could have an old D&D product/s revamped for 3E...

The D&D Rules Cyclopedia! A "basic" version of the 3E rules like other users have already suggested, with everything you really need to play and/or run the game -- classes, spells, monsters, magic items, campaign info, etc. -- all in one hardback book.

I found my D&D passion again. 1E basic: White Plume Mountain

Doc, your post just brought a tear to my beady-little eye. Just last night I was flipping through my OD&D Rules Cyclopedia and thinking how much fun I used to have playing "basic" D&D... and now I'm thinking maybe it's time I started having fun again!

    Mutants and Masterminds! (Quickie Review)

Yep, you buy powers, skills, feats, everything in M&M with power points, and you earn more through adventuring much like XP. The number of points that you've actually spent on your character determines what level you are (e.g. a character built on 150 pts is considered 10th level).

    A spontaneus casting Mage

Weird War 2 had a very good spontaneous system, in which you could cast any spell that you know but you must make a Spellcraft check vs. a DC of 15 + (spell level x 2) to cast it successfully, and you'll take (3 x spell level) in fatigue points each time you attempt to cast any spell regardless.
