    Non-Animal Anthropomorphics

I think there actually are a decent number of intelligent/humanoid vegetables (and possibly minerals) out there. In the MM3 theres the "Woodling" template which turns a creature into a plant. IIRC that book also contained the "wood woad", sort of a humanoid tree that carries a club. Now that I...

What don't you like about D&D?

Hmmm, lets see.... I'd have to say I don't like the alignment restrictions on some classes. Multiclassing can be a bit of a pain sometimes. Thats it. I started gaming with two groups at roughly the same time. One, currently doing a WLD campaign, uses D&D 3.5, the other is running a Middle...

What's the spell you've always wanted to cast?

Prestidigitation. I haven't played a spellcaster in quite some time and that is the single greatest spell ever.

    How to avoid Furry Fandom?

Avoid making anthropomorphic animals, make them anthropomorphic plants instead. You are far less likely to encounter someone who thinks they're a pine tree. If this does spawn a group called "Barkies" or something, you're on your own. ISeriously though if you're going to go with the...

    Toys for use as minis

Back when we still did tabletop, the DM of my MERP group used to use figures from the LoTR version of Risk. Handy as there were lots of them and also, quite appropriate.

    unarmed ninja?

I only skimmed over the previous posts, sorry if someone already mentioned this. There is a feat in the Bo9S that gives you a higher unarmed damage progression. It tops out at 2d6 though.

Most Unexpected/Funny Ways the PCs Killed A Creature

I still have not played a (full) caster in D&D but I was thinking someday I'd like to use Command:Defecate. Wonder what sort of penalty "occupied" drawers would give.

    Anyone got World's Largest City?

I acutally kinda liked Region A. Possibly it was the way our DM portrayed it but I thought it had a cool, "Survival Horror" feel to it. Although admittedly the 473 or so darkmantles were a bit much.

    Freeport Trilogy... with Asaatthi!

Bah, puny mammals. I guess theres nothing technically wrong with them but I've never found rat-people very interesting. I mean, snakes sure, but rats? When one sets out to make a threatening anthropomorphic animal, why start with something thats largely innocuous? If I'm going to be facing a...

    Freeport Trilogy... with Asaatthi!

Everythings better with Asaathi. :) If you're keeping the power level low, maybe the Lihueltess stats would work a bit better? I'd imagine the Raasek would be a bit too low.

Where is the DD test store in Pawtucket, RI?

Basically it's a boston cream where the cream has been replaced with super sugary peanut butter frosting. Really good and about as healthy as banging your head on a wall. Of course, the same can probably be said about all donuts.

Where is the DD test store in Pawtucket, RI?

I'm partial to boston cream, although the peanut butter cup donuts in Williamsport PA are really good. Especially so because they're not exactly in easy reach. :)

    New Years Resolution Thread

I'm not making any. I figure if something is worth doing it's worth doing right away. This is not to nay-say those of you who are making resolutions. :)

I was actually looking at that class today. "Innuendo" is among the class skills listed.

    Scarred Lands -- required texts

I'll second the Ghelspad book as a good buy. "Divine and Defeated" and "Relics and Rituals" are both nifty too, as are the Creature Collections. I greatly enjoyed the Vigil Watch:Asaathi book. The flavor text is great but some of the stuff in there is a little extreme mechanically.

Help a lapsed DM with newfangled online gaming

Both my gaming groups use Openrpg. My MERP group used to be partly tabletop, it was made of two groups that game together, one east coast and one west coast. When people on both sides started moving away, we went onto Open and I think the flow of the game improved since we were all looking at...
