    Lightly Armored Cleric

For the campaign that I use it in, we used some DM tweaking on it. No -4 to hit, but no str damage either.

    Lightly Armored Cleric

Stream is correct, the source is 'Book of Exalted Deeds'. The reason it is considered too powerful is not the armor but the -4 penalty it causes against melee attacks. It effectively has +9 Armor bonus against melee for a second level spell, and +12 for a 4th.

    Robbing rogues

If each house has 2000gp value for robbing, hiring a guard at the normal rate is reasonable. That combined with the alarm idea makes it very difficult to sneak in, gather loot, and get out without being noticed. Remember no amount of hide check will help you if you do not have cover/concealment...

    Lightly Armored Cleric

There are two spells from Heroes of Battle that allow you to go without armor, but are also widely considered a tad too powerful. The spells are 2nd and 4th level and provide a +5 armor and +8 armor for hours per level. In addition, they have the affect of the daylight spell centered on you, and...

Expertise, "Fighting Defensively", Tumble, AND YOU!

Fighting defensively and Combat Expertise confusion stems from poor page layout and bad word choices. Fighting defensively is not an independent action, it is part of the attack action. Since Combat Expertise says "When you use the attack action or the full attack action in melee", it becomes...

    Familiar's using wands

If I remember correctly Imbue gives your familiar the spells in the form of spell like abilities. Since it is not actual casting, it would not provide the ability to use scrolls and wands. The benefit of the UMD approach over any other is the the +19 UMD can be used on divine as well as arcane...

    Monk Items stacking

If you really want to tweak a monk's damage: Eberron changling 11 Monk / 1 Warshapper Improve Natural Attack Superior Unarmed Strike Monk's belt Racial Attunement (allows you to use magic items of the race you look like as a changling) Kalastar crystal (improves size by 1 category) Base 2d10...

    Familiar's using wands

This is why I mentioned Improved Familiar. Since of course a Imp or Petal can wield a wand. (Petals are tiny fey that have flower petals as wings)

    wood shape

I think Moritheil is correct in this case. A player who is using a spell in such a fashion will probably not consider that a worthy reason. Meanwhile, I do believe that the DMG goes into players creating unique situations and how to resolve them. I remember it saying something about adding saves...

    Sorcerer Ideas

Often being in Towns or Cities is an excellent opportunity to roleplay. While their are mechanics for resolving roleplaying situation, that doesn't mean that you cant roleplay if you do not have the skill. Make your face life a nightmare, get falling down drunk, etc. Do what ever would make...

Is my Paladin (rebalanced) tank ready?

Fighters take the -2 penalty for a Tower shield as well. The only thing I can add to this conversation would be, that if you do end up going to 4th paladin (turning), then an excellent feat would be Divine Warding (i think that is the name) from Complete Warrior. It lets you add your chr bonus...

    Familiar's using wands

The best way that I have seen this work is: Improved Familiar - Imp (base), or Petal(MMIII) for a high chr Loremaster - has UMD as an in-class skill Since familiars have the same skills as its master, you can get a pretty impressive UMD on your familiar. At the second level of Loremaster(9th...

    Two weapon fighting?

Upon closer inspection of the subset of rules, I cannot find anything to suggest that you couldn't use a spell with multiple charges in one round. (except for the round that you cast in).

    Two weapon fighting?

Produce flame is not particularly effective with regards to two-weapon fighting since it does not provide a weapon effect. Thus the range touch/melee touch both take standard actions to use. I personally do not like the ranged rogue in any form. It is either rarely achieved or costly to get...

    Monk Items stacking

80,000 is steep, even for a slotless item. Given that the monk's belt gives almost the same effect for 13k. Converting it to a slotless item, increases the cost to 26k. That leaves a difference of 54k. After taking into account the slotless increase the difference in cost is 27k. 27k for the...

    Protection from Eldritch fire

I a still confused as to what seems to be the problem. Given that you have only mention the blast being the problem, it seems as your player is just playing a straight forward warlock that is focusing on his blast. When you compare this vs other devoted damage builds, it does far less damage...

    Stacking common effects on items

Only on a charge, but on that path their is also Warchanter to achieve the same effect but with less restrictions (they have a bardic music that lets you burn AC for +hit bonus), but to put it on the same footing as massive stats means that you are assuming your AC is so low that taking a...

    Stacking common effects on items

Huge stats are just as game breaking for your typical barbarian. If you can power attack for full and still hit for about the same as a typical barbarian, then start to become really easy.

I forgot to include reprinted in a 3.5 source. (not that it particularly matters)

How Long Can A Bard Sing For?

Interestingly enough neither are affected by it. Most constructs are mindless, and undead are immune to morale effects. The undead immunity can be circumvented with feats & prcs, and not all constructs are mindless.
