    Best 3.5 Publishers

Necromancer Games: These guys are the kings of module-making. I can't praise them enough. Plus, they listen and commuicate with their customers. Just check out their forums. Sword and Sorcery Studios: Scarred Lands. 'nuff said.

What D&D cliches are you sick of?

DId WotC make a mistake? (Half-Elves)

I agree... Besides, if it's not broke, why fix it? There is such a thing as getting mired in rules and losing sight of the game. Then again, I refuse to "upgrade" to 3.5 for pretty much the same reason (3.0 works just fine for me).

    Adventure Module Suggestions (for DnD)?

I really suggest you check out Necromancer Games modules... I honestly think they are the best being put out these days. Top picks for me: Rappan Athuk - the ultimate dungeon crawl. Tomb of Absythor - very nice dungeon here Vault of Larin Karr - wilderness and underdark adventure, plenty of...

Oft-repeated "theme" phrases from your Campaigns and their origins.

"You lose a level." Any time a player does something to peeve the DM (i.e., foils his carefully laid plans, gets a crit that slays the villian before he was "supposed to," that kind of thing).

What are the pros and cons of the different campaign settings?

I’m a Scarred Lands man myself. Just to add to what’s already been said, I like the grittiness of it. The world is still nice and rife with strife after the Divine War. Tons of ideas, but very little in saying ways to run a campaign the “right way.” Basically, with the Titans and such, it...

Which of WotC's 2004 D&D sourcebooks are you currently planning to buy?

None of the above for me too. I with you on this as well. I really don't have anything against WotC, but nothing they put out seems to interest me. I like modules, not an endless stream of rulebooks. Necromancer definitely answers the call for us who like mods. Maybe it's because I've...

    Module Cheating

First off, I think Rappan Athuk is one of the best modules out there... Having said that, it WAS published before the 3.0 Core books were released, so of course there are places where it is at variance with the rules. For good advice/errata, check out the Nercomancer Games forums...

    Scarred Lands Fan Sites?

Could anyone recommend a few good Scarred Lands fan sites? I'm always on the lookout for good online resources.

    Module Recommendations?

I ran Death in Freeport and that was a lot of fun. However, I am admitted Necromancer Games fanboy. check 'em out: Necromancer Games I recommend Rappan Athuk, my personal favorite. It is lethal to say the least... another popular one is Vault of Larin Karr...

    The best published adventures

Ok, well, for older modules (1e), I would recommend Against the Giants, Keep on the Borderlands, and The Slaverlord Series (but not in that order!). For 3e stuff... get anything by Necromancer Games. In my opinion, these guys are the kings of third edition module making. For low level, check...

Pirate campaign in Hyboria of Conan

Also, try The Hyborian Age d20 Campaign Site. It has plenty of info. Also, the GURPS Conan book is worth picking up if you can find it.
