    D&D 5E (2014) 3 Classic Settings Coming To 5E?

Sometimes I feel the need of a different setting, something less turbo-weird as D&D present incarnations. It is because of it that I dream to move to Adventures in Middle Earth, but as Dragonlance, that setting suffer the intimate connection with an iper famous and bulky saga written upon it. In...

    D&D 5E (2014) 3 Classic Settings Coming To 5E?

I believe that a good reboot of Ravenloft could start from Curse of Strahd. Our heroes defeat the devil Strahd, although temporarly, Dark Powers feel the needs to readjust because of that and a reboot start. This make Curse of Strahd convergent and could be a way to attract those players who...

    DDAL Simple CANON question

Somewhere (I don't rememeber where and when), I've read that books with plots, location etc. used in AL are canon in regard to, for instance, Forgotten Realms world. Maybe Candlekeep is the best forum to ask... don't know. I was wondering if the admission to AL of a book implies its adherence...

    DDAL Simple CANON question

This is true indeed. Still I need to know if there is a common and accepted understanding (or something more or less official) about AL and CANON.

D&D General (Anecdotal) conversations with Asian gamers on some problems they currently face in the D&D world of RPG gaming

And if you think about removing statues of Grant... here comes the free fall into racist paranoia. When I've seen this I've just tryied to imagine what could happen in Italy if we destroy Coliseum as a symbol of Christian persecution during pre-constantine roman empire. Or remove divine comedy...

D&D General (Anecdotal) conversations with Asian gamers on some problems they currently face in the D&D world of RPG gaming

I only want to add that the problem here is to remove a book under pressure. Every other more general act of removal is not in topic and it is only a rethorical strategy of moving the topic from peculiar to general. And even if is SELF censorship this not move the problem a bit.

D&D General (Anecdotal) conversations with Asian gamers on some problems they currently face in the D&D world of RPG gaming

When they removed the book of racist, I believed it was good. When they removed the book of liberals I did not care about cause I'm not liberal. When they removed my book, nobody was left to defend me. Tons of words to circle around the true point. Censorship.

for WoTC to remove a book is capitalism. For a third person to approve it or request it is fascism, maybe unintentional. For we are not talking about inclusivness, we are talking about REMOVING books already written. It is very very serious.
