Spell Stowaway (time stop) amuses me to no end.

Right now I'm running the Shackled City (they're down in Bhal-Hamatugn), and it's truly anything goes. The PCs are also gestalt, so it lends this wacky cool fantasy-supers feel. Lots of fun. My next campaign though will be much more restricted. I'm thinking of Arcana Evolved in a homebrew...

Sure thing. First of all, Crisis of Breath disrupts the autonomic breathing reflex. This means that the target must conciously will his lungs to breathe. Next, Brain Lock prevents the target from taking any concious actions. Ergo, the target cannot breathe, and suffocates.

The advantage of the feat in Masters of the Wild is that you don't have to have humanlike voice/hands to cast spells. You'd probably be better off either expanding the abilities that satisfy the prereqs on Wild Spell or just be a Psion instead :)
