Stupid Question What rules are you using for character advancement? I looked online but see that they've taken the DnD Next playtest packed down. How do you know what abilities characters have as they advance for example?

In terms of greybrushing, Privater Press has been talking about underprimming for a while. Hitting a model with different colors of spray primer from higher and higher angles. Works out pretty well, especially on the larger figures that can take it. Gives some quick highlighting and shading...

Gesso priming pros and cons over there. I dig my airbrush. Badger 105 for the 'thick' paint and a renegade for some of the airbrush ready stuff.

I would like to see less cover poses for internal and external art. If I want to buy a copy of Men's Fitness or a newstand magazine with the latest celebrity on it, I'll do that.

Advancement doesn't HAVE to be the same but currently it IS the same and this is assumed in all the adventurers and support material so if you want to have that 'epic' game with prewritten material you're still going to the dungeon even if it's a demi-god's hall of horrors.

Because sometimes you don't want to 'name' the mosnters and by providing a descriptions you can set up atmosphere and mood whereas a monster illustration pretty much gives it away after the first time.
