    Good PC fantasy RPGs

Maybe I'm just missing them, but I haven't seen any good fantasy RPGs for the computer in recent years. Morrowind was the last one I really enjoyed, and since then I've been craving more. I just played through the entire baldur's gate series again and loved it, carrying the same character from...

To Find a King (updated 06/26)

Great story so far, can't wait to meet the other PCs and see the campaign begin.

    Tired of sports correlation theories?

Apparently there is a remarkable correlation between Collingwood's position on the ladder and the number of shark attacks.

Being set on fire aint what it used to be.

IMHO, i think you should probably leave the rules as they are. It's pretty distracting being hacked at with an axe as well, but characters don't become shaken from being attacked.

Sins of Our Fathers II - New Art Uploaded - 1/25

Turn on the computer, go to Enworld, and see that the most recent post is another great update by Destan, what more can you ask for? Out of curiosity, how did this occur in the game? Did Baden succeed at a search check near the end? Thanks for the update, more Baden goodness is always...

Seperating your Epees from your Rapiers?

The way that i've always understood it is that the foil was the training weapon, while the epee was designed to be more like actual combat. Hence the existence of right of way in foil, in order to force you to do the 'correct' moves.

    Just got my SAT scores!

In Australia, you get a percentile score, stating what percentage of the state you finished ahead of. 70 means that you finished ahead of 70% of the state. As you can't be ahead of yourself, the highest score is 99.95. Maybe it's because it's the system I've grown up with, but i prefer it, as...

    I, Robot Trailer

I'll have to agree with what people have said earlier, the annoyance is that they are pretending that the film has something to do with I, Robot (which I enjoyed reading). To my mind, it is irrelevant whether the book would make a good film or not, if someone made "Remembrance of things past"...

    Extreme Medieval sports?

I think that the Australian Aboriginies invented an earlier form of Aussie Rules Football. Click here if you don't know what AFL is.

    Classic Campaigning...

Have many NPCs/PCs who have been rejected from their traditionally evil races for being of good alignment. The BBEG shall not be defeated till burnham wood moves against him (make sure they've got a druid). You could have an orc leader make a speech (when he reaches low HP): I am an Orc Hath...

    My Paladin's Code

Nice. In the second verse, does the order that the vows have been listed correspond to their significance (Faith before king, before weak)?

Unfortunately, no. But i think that this capability will be added in version two (not positive though).

    Paladins and Self Preservation

Personally, I think that the key term here is "overwhelming odds", this suggests that the paladin knows that he will not survive the battle if he stays. Given this, we have to look at the situation from the two perspectives of the paladin's alignment: Lawful(ness), and good(ness). Goodness...

    Anyone else used Terragen?

For one of our visualisation assignments, we briefly used a terrain generating tool called Terragen (r), which is freely downloadable (for non commercial use) from http://www.planetside.co.uk/terragen/. Unfortunately, I'm not playing any d&d at the moment, so I' not sure how helpful it would...
