    95 PATHFINDER Classes?

Except that he has an incomplete list of classes from the Advanced Class Guide -- missing classes include the Brawler and the Skald. Also, he included the Samurai but left out the Antipaladin and Ninja, so he is not even consistent in his treatment of alternate classes.

Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder above 20/Pathfinder Monster PCs

Little Red Goblins had to pull all of their PDFs because of issues with the OGL declarations. Most but not all of their PDFs are once again for sale. The Legendary Levels PDFs have not been restored, possibly because they had some massive revisions in mind for that line.

D&D 5E The Multiverse is back....

They assigned deities from all settings (including the Known World/Mystara, which had its own distinct cosmology) to planes on the AD&D "Great Wheel" cosmology -- which required assigning alignments to deities previously described only in Lawful/Neutral/Chaotic terms. So I was basically...

D&D 5E The Multiverse is back....

I still haven't forgiven them for "Warriors of Heaven" back in 2E. It seems to me that they are repeating that offense.

Dragon 427 posted and Upcoming Hiatus

As I see it, they are making it easy for us to decide whether we want to try out D&D Next months in advance of its release. We will have the final public playtest package, which will enable us to judge the quality of the product itself (since supposedly the official release will primarily...

Pathfinder 1E Is Pathfinder going to slow down?

You are aware that the PFSRD is not Paizo's work, right?

Dragon 427 posted and Upcoming Hiatus

The problem is that DDI covers multiple things -- not just Dragon and Dungeon but the Character Builder and other tools as well. Many people with ongoing 4E games will want continued access to the tools, but others will feel that their subscriptions are no longer worth it. So far WotC has said...

Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder above 20/Pathfinder Monster PCs

There is also a free Epic Level Handbook conversion by a guy named Jesse Jones that can be found here: http://www.jessesdnd.com/epicpf

    D&D 5E previous playtest packets

Maybe sooner. They are already talking about the contents of the next package, so I would expect it in May.

    D&D 5E previous playtest packets

I have files dated 8/13, 10/8, 10/29, 11/13,and 12/17 in 2012, and 1/28, 3/20, 3/21, and 4/11 in 2013. The major updates were 8/13, 10/29, 12/17, 1/28, and 3/20. Per the earlier moderator note, I am not offering to e-mail them to anybody. But anyone who signed up for the playtest from the...

Level 10 PC recommendations for Lair Assault

One trick that a guy in our gaming group figured out is the desirability of getting the 10th level skill power "Enter the Crucible". It requires training in Endurance, and it is so good that you have a good chance of completing this lair assault without a healer.

    D&D 5E Changes in Interpretation

Well, this is a playtest. We are at a point where we can still influence the shape that the final rules take. If all you ever played were your own house rules replacing over half of the playtest packet, you would be unable to provide Wizards with any valid feedback. About the only way I can...

    D&D 5E Multiclass in 5E

Pathfinder is unchanged from 3.5 in this regard. The only change was rewriting the favored class mechanics.

Character Creation Now Supported: Let's Make Some Characters!

I was thinking of trying out a High Elf Rogue with the Thief background and the Magic-User specialty. He would wear no armor (since as best I can tell you cannot cast even minor wizard spells in armor) but be able to sneak attack with spells.

Pathfinder 1E Escalation die for Pathfinder

Alternatively, maybe the intention was to speed up combat. Increasing all attack rolls and save DCs while leaving everything else unchanged increases the amount of damage taken by all combatants. Increasing those while also increasing ACs and saving throw bonuses would be totally pointless.

    Rule-of-Three: 07/10/2012

That intelligence table led to some rather counter-intuitive play by the wizard in my 2E game. She deliberately rejected the chance to copy a spell from a scroll into her spellbook because she was closing in on her maximum number of spells for that level and wanted to keep the remaining slots...

    D&D Movie/TV Dungeons & Dragons 3 Movie Trailer

I think Wizards was involved in this movie -- they mentioned it frequently in their promo material for Book of Vile Darkness, and I also recall seeing mention of a contest to have a character generated by one of their customers included in the movie. I had forgotten about all that until I saw...

Please take the whole "Hit Points and Regaining Hit points" back to the drawing board

Also keep in mind that the full recovery after an 8 hour rest only works if you either never dropped to zero hit points or fewer or you received magical healing afterwards. If you were stabilized after being reduced to zero hit points or fewer, the time required to fully heal adds up to 10-20...

    Ability scores figured out.

For the Mountain Dwarf, I would not rule out the possibility that he gets a bonus to wisdom instead of strength -- the stats could be made to work out either way. If the bonus is to wisdom, Wizards would avoid the inevitable question that would come up when the character creation rules come...
