Dear Mr. Chick

Hi!

I've read your diatribe, Mr. Chick, and I was very impressed. Your views are most noteworthy!

I was also impressed by what you said about D&D magic spells being REAL. WOW! That's amazing! How can they get away with that? Should not God smite them? I would.

But I have a question. I thought that to know the purest good one must delve into the heart of evil and therefore, I began playing D&D. I killed an orc with a pie! He didn't have any treasure though

I tried playing a sorcerer, because like we both know, they're the evilist. But I spoke EVERY word from the book out loud, even the stuff about the rules, AND I took a five-foot step (sorry Pete about spillin' the Moutain Dew, I didn't know you'd put the bottle behind my chair!), but nothing happened!

So, I figured, I'd go kill some innocents, you know, 'cause I wanna be the best I can be by being the worst, right?

So I sacrificed and I sacrificed, but still the spells wouldn't work!

Mr. Chick, please help me, I don't know what I'm doing wrong. If the spells are all so accurate, and even the blood of innocents won't help me (I even bought the book of Vile Darkness, but it wasn't half as bloody as those midday shoppers I shot), I must be REALLY saintly, or something.

Thanks Mr. Chick. I know I can count on you to help me be the best (worst) person I can be!
