When I graduated college, and turned over the SysOp reigns of a BBS that I ran to my co-SysOp, I calculated an interesting tidbit of information.
You see, when I turned over that BBS, I had 17,000 posts on there.
I figured up how many inches thick of books that was.
So, let's see. Crothian has 20,000 posts.
If an average post was 5 lines long. That's 100,000 lines of text.
I picked up a book on my shelf, and each page has 40 lines in it. 100,000/40 = 2500 pages. This book is just over 300 pages long, and is 1 inch thick. By the time you cut out chapter headings, and section headings, ToC, etc., you're left with about 300 pages.
So, Crothian, you've written the equivalent of an 8 1/3 inch book. For fun, take out a ruler and see how tall that is.
By comparison, Tolstoy's War and Peace is just over 1,400 pages. Crothian has that beat by 1,100 pages.
Congratulations!![Devious :] :]](http://www.enworld.org/forum/images/smilies/devious.png)
