2006 - Green Ronin returns to adventures with Bleeding Edge line

Whuh?

"Bleeding Edge" is a common expression; means the same thing as "Cutting Edge."

Guess I'm just not following why that would be an issue...

I can only speak for me but the things I thought upon seeing that title were:

-"Cooler than thou" - WW-ish.

-Bloodier, probably grosser than the average module.

-Almost nothing that pronounces itself cutting edge, actually is.

The fact that it's GR gives me hope, but the Bleeding Edge tag does nothing good for me.

I think what Rob means by "nostalgia" is the fact back before the 90s, in the 80s we had more rough and tumble guys who might be rough around the edges, but weren't angst ridden drow. Nogalstia for D&D then as compared to now was more about "Get the gold, have some fun, Rp a little tonight." Now it's a big wider but also at time a little narrower focus.

I'll 99% be buying this. Look at the level...1st/2nd. That's the key right there.

Oh, and the Green Ronin imprint. This year I bought more Green Ronin than WotC product by a long shot.

Part of the thing these adventures do differently is presentation. The adventures make full use of the new stat-block formats for easier play for instance. Plus, each adventure makes use of existing d20 material outside of the SRD.

Cool. I haven't see a company dive into using OGC since MEG. How much non-GR OGC are you planning on using in the series?
