D&D 5E 20th level Sorcerer vs the world

OK. That's how I saw it in my theater of mind. Since the range is 980 ft, and I find it hilarious, I DD right next to the Sorcerer (range is 1,000 ft) to cast Crown of Madness. I mentally order him to attack me with his hands.

OK, I'm looking through the thread.

@Galandris had his Dimension Door contingent on saying some code words.

a) One Yuan-Ti says the code
b) The other Dimension Doors them to within 240 ft and casts Dispel Magic
c) Nightmare turns hostile
d) Sorc DD's 950 ft to the ground.
e) Pythagoras' Theorem puts the Sorc at 980 ft away from the two Yuan-Ti
f) The first Yuan-Ti Distant DD's everyone to within appropriate range and casts Crown of Magic.
Yes. It's
Crown of Madness?
I failed.

You are now mad. However, there is, as far as I can tell, nobody within striking distance of you, as your mount is still high in the sky. You may act normally. You are charmed by the Yuan-Ti that cast Crown of Madness, so you may not take hostile actions against it.

Oh wait, didn't see @Galandris's post. You strike him with your hand.

You rolled a 7 on the d20. I found your character sheet, so that's a 12 on the attack, which misses. You may use a bonus action, reaction, and/or move.

He stated above that he Distant Dimension Doored right next to you. You don't have an action.

Yuan-Ti A used DDD to get within Dispel Magic Range.
Yuan-Ti B used DDD to get them both close to you, one of the two adjacent.

You do not have an action. You do, however, have movement, a bonus action, and a reaction.
