I have to admit, I had some fun mocking this episode. There were a number of credibility stretching moments. My wife enjoyed a few "ick"s at the prospect of severed thumbs and whatnot.

But the good news is I was wrong last week, CHLOE'S BACK!!! It was so good to see her come galumphing back into our lives, snarling at Edgar, acting anti-social and all. Good to have ya back, Chloe!

Did anyone else think that Marwan had a Dr. Evil moment, when he had Dina shot but kept Jack alive? My wife caught on right away: "Seriously, Dad. I've got a gun right up in my room. I'll shoot him, right now!"

"Scott ... You just. don't. get it."

CHLOE IS BACK!!!!!! YESSSS!!!!.....Now...I am...HAPPY!!!

you know, if I ever get captured by bad guys and one of them hands me a gun and tells me to shoot some innocent bystander to 'test my loyalty'.... I think I'll check to see IF THE FRICKIN' GUN IS LOADED FIRST!! I swear, I've seen that same stunt pulled on about a dozen tv shows....

Anyone else think the kissing bit between Dina(sp) and Beruze(sp) was a little weird. It seemed like she was trying to send him a message of some sort. If this is true, I think it was the door code (since she was right there when Jack punched it in).

You know, I was thinking the same thing. I'm not up on gun mechanics, but don't you just have the pull the barrel back? If there's a round in the chamber, it will fly out, and if it's empty, the thing will just pull back. Then you look at Marwan and say, "oops, no bullets."

At which point, Marwan shoots Jack in the head himself, which is what he should have done in the first frickin' place.

"All I have is one simple request, and that's frickin' sharks with frickin' laser beams! Throw me a bone here people!"

I completely forgot to catch tonight's episode. Could anyone put up some spoilers or a complete synopsis? I've caught every other episode this season, except for tonight..

Yes, but you see, Jack is still useful to him. He has the forethought to realize that he can trade Jack for Beruz and then kill him once he knowa the trade is going to go according to plan. Add this to killing Dina and he's just pulled off the terrorist trifecta. Oh who am I kidding? Beruz is such a small time concern that he's not even close to being equal to Jack unless he lobotomizes Jack before making the trade.

Glad to see Chloe back. The whole unloaded gun schtick was obvious. I was waiting for them to go against the obvious and have her actually pull the trigger on Jack, and later tell him that she knew Marwan was testing him. Test failed. Same with the pilot. Duh, they are going to kill the family bub. You are not that important to keep them hostage. Finally, the whole hightened security line from the sergeant obviously extended only to the gate. Past that roving patrols are just a nice idea on paper; budget cuts, you know.
Great season for the most part, but they still throw in some dud plots or ideas, and unfortunately this ep. had 3 blaring ones. I could have done with a bit more nose curling from Chloe also.

Don't let's forget the tunnel gaffe...

"They're going to be out of satellite coverage for two minutes! Make sure the tail hangs back so our ignorance of those 2 minutes will be total!"

Silly eejits.
