Leyra uses the only option she has to help Barrion making it through the attacks, before dropping through the panel and climbing down. She covers the last few feet as she lets go of the rope. On her way down, she fires a ray of light at the closest cultist, hoping to cause as much delay as possible for them to manage to stop the ritual team from finishing.


OOC: Minor - Bastion of Health on Barrion (heals 8 + HSV);
Move - Climb down 15 ft.; Free - Jump last 5 ft.;
Standard - Sacred Flame at Cultist (M13) (Reflex 28 Damage 13).

Question - As Leyra is in position to climb down from her last turn already, does she start this turn in N8, or will she only enter that square during her climb-move? If she is in N8 already, she is in range for the attack on the cultist before climbing down, from where she might still see Barrion (allowing him a Save with Sacred Flame).
If not... Garrick will get 5 temporary hit points, as she blasts the cultist from the bottom of the inner chamber.

Mirage moves up behind Leyra and looks out on the ritual taking place below. Horrified at the thought of the demon escaping he targets one of the cultists taking care to try and shield himself with the interveening wall as much as possible. Unfortunately his caution mostly means his shadow spear misses.

"Stay up here! Stay up! Shoot them!" shouts Nathan. "Dagran, use the machine on the cultist. Barrion, go help them, shoot the cultist from here, I'll slow these ones."

Nathan move between Barrion and the zombie, dodging the zombie attack. He strike at the zombie, in hope to teleport it away from Barrion, but he miss. "Argh!" Frustrated, he charge his sword and the ligthning strike the zombie and arc toward the cultist behind him. He finally attac

Barrion teleports away from the zombie, beat to hell, but not giving up.

He turns, takes aim, and vaporises the zombie with his edritch blast. Barrion then teleports farther down the hall, heading towards another hatch to blast more cultists.

"Dagran, Nathan, you guys are going to have to keep those guys off of us!"

Away from the cold of the zombie, Barrion starts feeling less chilled.

The cultists, confronted by new opposition, have to adjust their plans. The dragonborn tries to stun Nathan with a powerful thunderburst but fails.
Thunderburst vs For 19 (1d20+8=17, 1d8+4=8)

Foiled in their attempt to bypass the warrior, his partner opts for a simple magic missile with more success.
Magic Missile vs Ref 20 (1d20+8=27, 2d4+4=10)

Then retreat in the corridor.

As the ritual is being disrupted, there is no longer enough cultist to require the presence of both monks in support. One of them steps forward and moves toward the heroes

Leyra heals Barrion and then moves to the other side of the room, blasting at the next cultist she can see.
