24 spoiler thread (4/27/04)

First Post
Well, tonight's episode of 24 has come to an end, and all I can say is: ARRRRRGH!

Just when you thought Jack and the guys at CTU were finally going to capture the smug, turtleneck-wearing Saunders, he pulled a Houdini and slipped away yet again. Way to go, Tony.

And, although it looks like Chloe is working for Saunders, I'm going to venture a guess and say that it's Adam who is working for Saunders. Why? Because when something looks certain in 24, the show will turn around and fool you. ;)

Even though I'm frusterated that we're going to have to put up with Saunder's arrogance for at least one more episode, I'm secure in the knowledge that it will be all the more satisfying when Jack kills the bastard at the end of the season. :p

I'm betting against the "mole in the office" plotline, but that doesn't mean that there isn't something fishy going on with Chloe. I loved Tony's line: "I'm getting really tired of your personality." But honestly I love the way Chloe galumphs around the office with a pouty frown on her face. Every time she's on the screen, I want to giggle.

Well, the good news is Michelle won't die a horrible death by hommoragic virus. The bad news is she may die a horrible death by knifeing and mutiliation. That was, franky, a bit too "perils of pauline" for me, but they had to keep Michelle in the game for the rest of the seaon. Shipping her off to quaratine wouldn't have been very exciting. I'm still betting she survives the season.

Lookings like Sheri will be back next week. Ohh, I'll take my 24 with EXTRA Evil!

Say, didn't there used to be a baby or something on this series?

By the way, you remember sylviaimports.com, the web site that Saunders set up for the president to send the information to? Well, you can actually go there to receieve a message from the crew of the show.

I didn't think it would happen, but Chloe irritates me more than Kim does. I kind of see her getting Michelle's or Guile's (how the hell is his name spelled?) job. She seems to be exerting an "I want to be on top" vibe.

Actually, it was the one thing that really struck me as true... why wouldn't Saunders have people ready to take away the immune? With their blood it would presumably be a fairly simple thing to cook up some kind of antidote or vaccine. Michelle was just conveniently there.

Urgh, not looking forward to that.

Oh, and the website was pretty cool!

Like that wasn't gone long ago. But once you accept the fact that the security of our nation is in the hands of an intelligence agent who isn't observant enough to notice that his partner and daugher are an item, or that a room at work with glass walls is the best place to secretly shoot up heroin, then anything that comes after is easy to buy.

You're right... I admit it.

Exactly. Very well-said... and likely why I still watch it.

I intially thought that Saunders' plan was to abduct Kim (and reclaim his daughter). This plan would hinge on Kim's car being stopped by a train at EXACTLY the right time. "Preposterous!" I yelled at the screen.

I was not much happier to realize that Saunders' plan ACTUALLY hinges on the fact that Michelle did NOT die to the utterly deadly virus. So, uh, if she had died like she was supposed to, what would he have done? "Call off the dogs, Tony, or I'll... uh... spit on her corpse!"

They all act like it matters. The virus is out. Of course some last minute cure will save most of the population of Los Angeles,
Hey, maybe the baby carries the cure.
