Just to clarify since I lost something in translation: Krixle need not jump over the pit. The chamber the pit is in is large enough to allow walking around the pit to either side.

Feel free to amend Krixle's action if you want.

I guess that depends on how deep the pit is. If its only 20 feet deep or so, Krixle would still have wanted to jump it, but if he can't see the bottom, he would go around. Which is it?

[sblock=Kobold Traits]

Common Kobold Racial Traits
* Dragon kobolds: no ability modifiers. Whiptail kobolds: -4 Strength, +4 Dexterity, -2 Constitution. Other kobolds: -4 Strength, +2 Dexterity, -2 Constitution.
* Darkvision 60 ft.
* Base Speed: 30 ft. (except for whiptail kobolds).
* Languages: Draconic. Other languages can be learned via skill points or selected for free due to Intelligence bonus.
* Light Sensitivity (Ex): Kobolds are dazzled in bright sunlight or within the radius of a daylight spell.
* Skills: Kobolds have a +2 racial bonus on Craft (trapmaking), Profession (miner), and Search checks.

Rock Kobold
The small, reptilian humanoid has exceptionally long fingers and toes, all ending with thin but strong curved claws.
* Size: Small.
* Climb Speed: 20 ft. In addition to standard kobold racial bonuses to skills, a rock kobold has a +8 racial bonus on all Climb checks. The creature must make a Climb check to climb any wall or slope with a DC of more than 0, but it always can choose to take 10 even if rushed or threatened while climbing. The creature climbs at the given speed while climbing. If it chooses an accelerated climb it moves at double the given climb speed (or its base land speed, whichever is lower) and makes a single Climb check at a -5 penalty. Creatures cannot run while climbing. A creature retains its Dexterity bonus to Armor Class (if any) while climbing, and opponents get no special bonus on their attacks against a climbing creature.[/sblock][/sblock]

Appearance: Keego is a thin wiry kobold and his scales are a bit grayer and rougher than most. Keego roams naked among the Bloodscale clan, except for a small pack and a circle of rope.

Background and Personality: Since Keego was a young Kobold, he has been climbing into and squeezing through tiny hidden crevices and exploring the ins and outs of the clan's lair. As an adult he helps out with scouts patrolling the periphery of clan areas. Often falling from the ceiling like a spider, Keego slams into opponents and pins them to the ground to prevent them from escaping or to prevent them from attacking other kobolds.
Few kobolds know Keego well. Too often he seems to be off in some dark cavernous corner doing who knows what. Yet, he always comes back in one piece. So when he heard of the encroachments of strange thorned creatures, Keego was eager to volunteer.[/sblock]

Ah, I just noticed that the game started a week ago. Let me know if you'd like another kobold and I'll finish out the details.

I can do that. Thanks for the interest. :)

OTOH, I might be needing a replacement player in Answering the Call. Check the links in my sig. It seems as if Menno's player has gone AWOL.

I really like what you've done with the classless kobold theme in Champions, but if Answering the Call if where you need a player I would consider that.

In any case I'll finish out Keego.

Cool. We'll keep him on ice for the time being. :)

If you want to jump in a game right away, I need a player for Menno in Answering the Call. Once the party returns to Borderland Keep, Menno can be written out and replaced with a character more to your fancy.

If this sounds like a winner, hop over to the Answering the Call IC thread (link in my sig) and post away!
