I'm going on a retreat this Friday evening through Sunday afternoon; consequently, I'll be out of the loop during that time.

Zaryz is banking on the chance that the monsters will leave the fallen prey to deal with the approaching threats.....and if he fries the closest one's brain, everyone else can get to Krixle easier. If not, well, he'll see if frying another one's brain is enough to save Krixle while the others try beating the other one to death.

A quick personal update: It's been a helluva week. My head cold has gotten progressively worse throughout, all during a week in which I absolutely could not take a sick day. Too many of my students have lost it. We've had two stabbings in two weeks, for example; thankfully, no one was seriously injured. I'm going to get caught up on my EN World stuff this weekend, which includes Monday since it's MLK Day.

Don't push yourself too hard. That seems like a pretty stressful series of events, and if you aren't up for it, its better to keep your sanity. Hope everything goes well for you, and that you get better.

Hey, like magic said, don't push yourself too hard. Family comes first, at least in my opinion. By all means, take as much time as you need. It certainly sounds like you've had a lot of garbage and stress to deal with lately, so feel free to take it easy for a while.
