D&D 3E/3.5 [3.5] Fun things to do with these spells?

A Malconvoker can cast evil conjuration spells without becoming evil thereby. Aside from summoning spells, there are a few others I have come across. I was wondering what the fertile imaginations of various folk could do with the following sor/wiz spells (for a non-evil caster that wants to stay that way):

Ashstar (level 2, Sandstorm) (Sadly it looks like it doesn't stack with Waves of Exhaustion to cause instant unconsciousness).

Blackwater Tentacle (level 5, Stormwrack) (Do I have to be near water to cast it?)

Abyssal Rift (level 9, Fiendish Codex I, Hordes of the Abyss) (Personally I think this would combine nicely with a well-timed wall of force)

There is one other in Champions of Ruin (Bedevil Opponent) and a host of them in Book of Vile Darkness (Torturer's Black Bag, Wall of Eyes, et al), but I don't have either of those books (the latter is on order from abebooks).

Conjuration is only matched by Transmutation. I am sure there are dozens of shenanigans you can pull, but instead of looking for uses of specific spells, try finding ways to make all conjuration spells evil, etc. for REAL challenge and fun.

Ashstar: If the effects stack, as in a character becoming more and more dehydrated, use it with spells that deal several instances of damage, like magic missile?

What does it mean, in mechanical terms, to become more and more dehydrated? Aside from being fatigued and having non-lethal "weather" damage turn into lethal damage, what does it mean to be dehydrated, in mechanical terms?
