Level up the Wyvern from 7HD to 8HD and it becomes huge.
Level it up to 11HD and it becomes gargantuan.

Is that big enough?

Sure I could do that. I can change the size of any creature in the book. That's not the point, though. My concern is that a change might have been made to fit with the miniature line. I don't like that strategy. IMO, the miniature should fit the monster, not the other way around.

However, as long as this is not a widespread phenomenon, I'm not really that concerned. I'd just rather not have the statistics in the monster manual dictated by miniatures (although some might argue that the whole space/reach change did exactly that).

Actually it is a widespread phenomenon. The space/reach thing (esp. for Large Craetures) has been quoted in other posts to be a product of the miniatures. For example Ogres have a space of 10x10 now because they couldn't make Ogre figs fit in 5x5.

Elves - not that chaotic. Well the wild ones are, the moon ones aren't too much, and the sun ones ain't at all.

from Arnwyn:

Isn't that FR stuff, and not core MM stuff?

I was going to put wild elf, high elf, and grey elf, but I figured people would understand this better.

Core elves do not act in a characteristically chaotic fashion. They tend to be cultured and to have a complex society. Their favored class requires regular disciplined study. However they are not obsessive about order. NG would fit well, since then their god could still have CG, NG, and LG elven followers to fit the elvish sub-races out there. Even the evil elves, the drow, don't really seem to be chaotic. Their society is fairly well organized - NE I'd say.
