Quiver of Endless Arrows: This quiver is a boon to the expert archer, for it magically creates an endless supply of masterwork arrows (of an appropriate size for the wearer). Each arrow exists for only a single round after it is drawn. The arrows don't exist until they are drawn, so they can't receive magical enhancements while still "in the quiver," even by such means as greater magic weapon (though such effects can be added after the arrow is drawn).
Caster Level: 7th; Prerequisites: Craft Wondrous Item, minor creation; Market Price: 900 gp; Weight: 3 lb.

Sasquatch, I have one magical item (Quiver of Endless Arrows) not from an official source, so please let me know if you don't approve it. I've included all info on it in the sblock. It is from Andy Collins' site, so I'm guessing it is well-balanced.

Fluff to follow.

Interesting I always thought Enlarge Person did not work on Goliaths as they are Monstrous Humanoids and not Humanoids.

I don't want to sound like I'm raining on the parade, but I think you might want to rethink the build of Void.

The weakest of the giants, the Hill Giant, attacks at +16/+11 for 2d8+10 damage per hit, and that's not even getting into frost and fire giants. I think combining LA, Con 10, and an unarmored class might be a little suicidal against giants.

Thanks for the note, but I haven't equipped him yet, beside it, Void is not going to be in the first line, he'll play hide and seek with the giants. He is not a fighter and I know that he will barely survives two hits from a giant.

Damn, you're right, I didn't notice that, I'm used to assuming PC races are humanoid. Alright, if I can't find a way to enlarge him that works on a monstrous humanoid I'll do a quick rebuilt so he's not build to require having reach on giants.

The other bad thing about a permanent enlarge is it only takes 1 dispel magic to kill it.

I thought of that problem, but with the caster level needed for permanence it'd be fairly hard for it to go. I was still dithering about whether to just go with an item or a permanent spell, but it doesn't matter so much now.

I came in here to say what he said. Would take a dispel magic check to beat a DC of 20 (Need to be 9th level to cast permanancy on Enlarge Person), which means that it would hold up 75% from a L5 caster and 50% of the time from a L10+ caster.

btw, I just got the Secrets of Xendrik book last night and was pleasantly surprised. Lots of fun stuff in that continent.

Are we going to spend alot of time indoors or outdoors? The scout I built should be dynamic enough to handle both situations, I was just curious. I almost feel like I need to justify why I picked a 9th level scout instead of a multiclassed character.

A lot of time indoors. But there will also be treks through jungle, ice, and volcanic terrains. An airship has been contracted to deposit the caravan in Stormreach, but from there, it is via ground.

That's fine.

@ Strahd: How would Void be able to activate his Wand of Invisibility?

@ patherfinderq1: AHA! I was wondering if any type of theurge would show up!

@ everyone: most likely this will be an 7 member party, so level 8 will most likely be the starting level. I'm still surprised that there have been no clerics -- one Favored Soul (lvl 2 at most), and a few Druids. Giants pack a big punch.
