Alright... where to begin:
MeepoTheMighty: Welcome! A couple of things about your character:
- Please list your character with the modified ability scores after racial bonuses/penalties.
- You, my friend, are a HUGE Dwarf, but within the guidelines, if you were fallowing such things.
- Very nice background!
- You did not take into concideration the armor penalties to your skills.
- Though your explorer's outfit does weigh 8 pounds, it does not count towards encumbrance.
Other then that, welcome aboard! Feel free to transfer your character to the Rogues gallery after the above changes are made.
Dagger75: Your character look great! Go ahead and move it over to the Rogues gallery.
reapersaurus: Thank you for your opinion, It was well worded,,, and I agree to some extents. This adventure is about the common man having the chance t o become a hero, not the exceptional man. No: 4d6 is not unbalancing, but you'd be surprised how differently people play when they think they ARE in mortal danger. It also make the feats that require a 13 in an ability trully restricted. And I'd disagree with your last statement:
heck, I'm sure there have been some weak characters that have survived a long time, and their players have had fun with them - that's not the point.
But that IS the point! Oh, and the feeling of accomplishment through a below average character is very rewarding! As for the 15 point adventure: It's called a Low-powered campaign in the DM's guide under page 20 (3.0 version), so I'm sure that I'm not the first. It's gratifying that this type of campaign is foreign to this board, for it just goes to show that this adventure may have at least one unique aspect to it.
RChicken: Thank you for your emails. I've answered them, and look forward to seeing your completed character!
MeepoTHeMighty: Your point is well made, and I garentee that everyone you meet will be rolled with the same meathod that you rolled your character (except they do not get to reroll if their total bonus is less then +1). What does that mean? It means that you'll be meeting a great veriety of people that are average, and when you do meet someone with a high atribute, that individual will be out of the ordinary and recognized for that fact (unlike some other campaigns I've seen).
Oh... version 3.0
Dagger75: 3.0 (sorry this was not made clear before)
deadestdai: I look forward to seeing your character... Thank you for the time frame!
Doppleganger

he reason I was not using Nadaka's die roller is because... I didn't know about it. Anyone who wishes to use Nadaka's instead is welcome to, and as Doppleganger has pointed out, it may be more stable do to the lower traffic on it. Since Doppleganger is NOT the mediator of THIS board, it's just a suggestion, but one that I will take to heart. I'll be using the Nadaka's DiceBox from here on out.
