Uhmm... I think Anostor is the only with no resistances (or are there others?)
Sessadore, I'm counting on you for that +7 to hit... Just let me get my hands on anything...

OOC: My wife and I closed on our first house today, so expect some absence from me in the next few days. I'll try to post for Batin tonight, however. Main strategy for NPCing: Mark, attack, get away to tport in later. Tport as much as possible.

AFIK, Batin has no resistances except when he's insubstantial (which is a lot).

Firstly, and this is for all our melee fighters, Ata reminded me of something I was going to say earlier. If you planning to go nova on someone with melee attacks, let me know before my turn and I'll try to land a Righteous Brand on the target. +7 will probably make most attacks nearly auto-hits, especially if you're also flanking ;) I think I'll give the bonus to Anostor this round, because he's ridiculous and maybe we can put a big dent in the lich before its next turn.

Are we all going to hammer on the lich and try to take it down while the other enemies are otherwise occupied? Or are we going to split up - some take the lich, the others take the rest on our terms? I'm partial to focus-fire myself.

Sarenax also has no resistances, except for using cryptspawn potions (spend a healing surge for no hp, gain resist 10 necrotic, resist 10 poison til end of the encounter). Looked at a couple other options for resistances in feats and items, but ended up going with other things. Probably going to pick something up next level, though (or sooner, if we get a pile of cash).

Lastly, I'm dying to know what's in those other sblocks. If someone succeeded on the checks to know that stuff, please share :)

Edit: And congrats, stonegod!

Do you guys want the lich dead in the first round of combat? If Saerenax puts himself in a flanking position with Anostor and successfully drops a Righteous Brand, and with a bit of luck, it should well be possible if it isn't an elite (and even if it's an elite, actually, if we focus fire). I was going to start slow, but I guess there's actually no need of, right?

Oh, and stonegod, congratulations!!

EDIT: forget flanking. Anostor needs to be whitin 5 squares to benefit from Righteous brand.

FYI. I plan on burning an AP this round, mostly because then I'll gain a +2 on my saves due to my STubborn survivor feat. That'll leave with me with +3 on saves, save once on the beginning of my turn, & +5 to saves vs stunned/dazed (so I should make it 85% of time).

Well, Sarenax could move to Z20 and still be in range to give Anostor the Righteous Brand bonus, and since stonegod said Batin will generally mark then move away Z18 should be open to flank from.

The other option is for Sarenax to drop Righteous Brand from where he is and then move around to the south side of the lich. This has two advantages - easier for Anostor to get into a flank, and it will provoke an OA that, if taken, will provoke an attack from whoever has marked the lich.

Of course, all this is if Batin, Kalas, or Kylek don't move the lich around. If you do, try not to move him farther east than column 21 or farther south than row AA, otherwise Sarenax can't be close enough to grant the RB bonus to Anostor.

Also, I'm pretty sure the lich is an elite, since it burned an AP. Still, It would be cool to see how badly we can maim it in one round  Perhaps I'll burn my AP as well and drop something heavy on it, like Angel Ascendant ;)

Ok, then it's a challenge. Can it survive a Righteous-Branded Nova from Anostor? We'll see

(I just have this ominous feeling it'll use some nasty trick like teleporting away as an immediate action after the first attack...)

*insert standardized evil laught at leisure*

...you know... maybe we shouldn't put all these nice ideas here where cov can read them in advance and think of countermeasures... :heh:
