I voted don't have the books, haven't played it and don't intend to play it.

However, I also don't intend to not play it, if that makes any sense. I don't know anyone who is running 4th edition, but I'd happily give it a go if the opportunity arose.

I'm not sold on 4th edition at the moment, so I'm not willing at this stage to buy the books and run it myself.

"I don't have any 4E books, do not plan to buy them, but I will play."

I've played 4e once and had a great time. But its not my prefered set of mechanics. Not even close.

Bought the books on release, got a new group together, and am running a straightforward homebrew using the Wizards adventures as a framework for the lower levels.

I love this game, and my players are having a good time; they have a few criticisms but they don't detract from the game. All-in-all, A+ would buy again.

Own the books, played a short test campaign, loved it! So voted the second option.

We are finishing the Shadowdale module for FR 3.x then moving on to a 4th ed campaign.

I've bought the books, but so far I've only run two short one-shot adventures (at 1st and 5th level, set in Urbis) to test out the system. It helped - I now have a better grasp of the rules and how to pace encounters.

I own 4E books and read them, but didn't have the opportunity yet to play a game.

My last Eberron campaign ended about a year and a half ago, mostly due to the enormous time committment required to prepare 3.5e and the failure of the mechanics to support the desired level of action. But I did love that setting.

I figure by the time the 4e Eberron books hit the shelves I'll be ready to run again.

I own the PHB and have played in close to a dozen sessions (and 1 shot play-tests). I'm part of a semi-regular group that will be going forward with 4E, but for my own game, and the new campaign I'll be starting in a couple of weeks, 4E just doesn't measure up to what I am looking for in a RPG system. I'll take a look at it again once the rest of the system is published in PHB II, but at this point I'm not holding my breath.

My group's status: most of us have the 4e core books. Our new homebrew is more-or-less complete. About half of us have our PC's set. We start the campaign either this week or next.

"I do not own 4E books (my friend does), but decided not to play after:
- reading them,
- reading forum feedback (both positive and negative),
- analyzing gameplay changes and finding conversion impossible (mostly due to missing game classes),
- analyzing gameplay changes and finding them unappealing,
- reading GSL and reading about GSL interpretation.
"

There. Here is my answer.
