Zaram nods appreciatively. "In my homeland, kobolds are looked down upon by my people. Much like the warforged are here by many humans. I will try and put any prejudice I have aside and think of them in terms of bandits if you wish."

Iridian dismisses the arguments of sparing the dragon-kin but offers no rebuttal to the Khorvairians. Such concern for the evil little kobolds was best left aside in the work to be done. Should it become necessary he will take it on himself to dispatch them.

"I am ready to proceed." says Iridian. "Though I'd like to see Douven's body returned as soon as possible. Respect for the dead is of the utmost importance and I'll carry his body back to his loved ones myself. I agree that a clear path would make that easier though."

The group heads out. There seems to be a restless, oppressive air about the town, or perhaps it is simply your own mood after the discovery of your old friend's body earlier today.

As dusk falls you find yourselves traveling along a small stream, your information suggests the kobold lair is nearby.

ooc: It's getting toward being Dim Light. A sunrod, for the record, is really really bright. You'll have fantastic vision, but be hard to miss.

"I am alright for now without additional light." says Iridian. He'll move away from the rest of the group as he often does out in the open.

"What about you, Adain? You don't sneak much around in the chainmail of yours, your powers are already radiant and you got a spare hand. Poor Zaram has to carry this heavy shield." Tyron asks the other half-elf.

I can see in dim light, but our other friends would need some light. I can hold the sunrod. To bad we do not have just a torch.
