"Please let me take a look at the bon, too" Tyron says, his short teleport confirming false-Douvens demise.
"And if the return tomorrow, we are perhaps able to finish this kobold bastards off, too. I feel like I would enjoy destroying their base of operation (ooc: minor quest)?"

Adain shows the bone to the warlock. See these here, indicating some runes on the bottom. Reminiscent of some rituals for freedom from bonds or summoning. Not something to be taken lightly. He rubs some dirt from his hands. As for the kobold, they are a blight on travel. We could examine their warren, though I'd be loathe to do so without properly taking care of Douven's body.

"Naturally we have to take care for Douven first. And to comfort his wife and daughters... hold on, I really mean to consolate tem. I'm maybe a bad boy, but not that bad!" Tyron answers.

It is relatively easy to create a litter with which to carry Douven's body it is late afternoon by the time the group has returned to town and evening by the time that you the preistess have made arrangements at the local temple for the body to recieve gentle repose.

The priestess [npc name] is concerned about sending the body back. There has been such trouble on the roads recently...

Adain nods. We are aware of the kobold bandits. We believe we know of their lair now, and it is our intent to deal with the matter, m'Lady.

The Flamist waits for the others to complete any preparations. It is late afternoon now. It may be dark if we leave for the warrens today. I leave it up to you gentlemen on whether we should tackle it now or on the morrow.

[sblock=OOC]Just because I've made this mistake before: Remember you can only spend 1 AP per encounter. Weird but true.[/sblock]
You beleive you could reach the kobold lair by dusk. A somber air hangs over the town as you prepare to depart again.

"I think we should try to deal with the remaining kobold bandits before they vanish, or worse, get reinforcements" Brock says.

"There is one thing I have to say though. I won't point any fingers, but I want you all to realize something. Just because those kobolds were bad news doesn't mean all kobolds are evil. I don't want to hear any racist remarks about them. They are bandits, that alone is why we must fight them. If they surrender, we will spare them.

After all, the fake Douven had some humans with him, and he was a changeling or something. They were evil, so we killed them.

There were those in my clan who were racist against humans and not without reasons as good as any we have against these kobolds. It was Douven who helped me realize that was wrong."

Adain's voice does not raise even if the barb was directed at him. The teachings of the Flame are clear: Those that possess mortal evil are to be redeemed if possible, restrained if feasible, or reclaimed if no other course if available. Their surrender is always an option.

"Hey, I am of two races. And one of my best friends was a goblin! No need for racist speeches here (or is it speciecist?). I will kill regardless of race. Or accept surrender... Most of the time." Tyron says.
