Lead by Silvi the group moves silently away from the site of the battle, and the dark clouds brewing over the town, and deeper into the forest.
You feel dark eyes upon you in the wood for some time and catch occasional glimpses of cursed shadowy forms lurking at the edge of your vision. But no sooner do they show themselves than Eldan's helm begins to glow and they retreat out of sight.
At length the creatures begin to show themselves no more.
You bed down for the evening; making crude camp in the roots of a great tree. Your new companion stands silent vigil over your restless sleep.

You awake to find a thick mist surrounds you. Champy, so named by Quinn during your nightly walk because it is a "shortened version of the ancient dwarven word for mushroom" apparently clubbed a large snake to death during the night.
Cooked over a hot rock the snake meat makes an functional, if unappealing, meal.

As you sit down to eat you notice that Verulo is not there. The angel statue that he was carrying is gone as well.
