[4e] [ePoL] Heroic Souls IC (R6 Heian > Monsters > Eldan&Champy > Quinn > Silvi > )

"I like to think there are other human settlements." Quinn says, from the distance. Then he seems to think more about what he said "Or settlements of other races, if they have such things. Our fungal friend wont be, as I picture, very comfortable in a place like the one I have in mind." the wizard looks a Champy with tender eyes. He didn't know why, but the creature was charming for him. May be for his curiosity of the unknown. And this creature was, at least, unknown to him.

Eldan smiles warmly as he clasps Heian's hand. As I said, I understand your concerns. We're all together in this, and it's important that we speak our minds.

Heian heartily smiles, too, while holding Eldan's hand.
Hearing Quinn's comment, Heian looks at "Champy", goes near him, and bends to talk to him: Friend, do you know where other people... humans, like us, live?

[sblock] I like this. I mean, these guys are alone against the world, it's time they start really developing a strong relationship... [/sblock]

Heian spends some time using simple words and gestures before he manages to communicate to Champy that he wishes to find "more people".

Eventually the fungal man seems to get the gist of what Heian is saying and starts off into the forest. Silvi and Quinn note that he's heading roughly SW.

Champy isn't rushing, and waits for everyone to come.
OOC: If everyone doesn't come he just stands there, waiting patiently.

[sblock=OOC: Silvi and Quinn] Lets say that they had their conversation already. Rayex is probably busy.
For the record this means that we're doing the po-mo method. You'll flash back to it at a dramatically appropriate moment sometime in the future.[/sblock]

[sblock=OOC: When you have a skill rank of +11 at first level]While I hadn't really intended for Champy to do any guiding of the group a skill rank of 11 ought to mean something.
And hitting a "hard" difficulty likewise ought to do something.[/sblock]

Quinn gestures and comments something to Silvi. Unfourtanly, the others are to far away to hear.
[sblock=Silvi]
"My dear child, this condition you have, is of the most unespected origin. Maybe you are familiar with Tieflings. They anre halfbreed, half human, half fiend. The tiefling conditions usually express, or do not express at all. But you my child, you seem to develope certain degree of fiendish blood, although not complete. That, or it is expressing at slow rithms. Maybe now, that we are outside from the town and the spells that are operating there, your fiend blood started to came out. I can tell with sufficient cerntality, that your skinn must have endurance against fire. Let Us hope this condition of yours don't affect you mind. I will not tell anyone about this if you'll like to keep it secret. But remember my words: Secrets are twice harder to keep, than they are to make." Quinn relaxes a bit, for during his explanation he seemed stressed. He looks at the others for a moment, noticing the fungi man was walking away. "We shall follow them now, but rest asure, your secret is well kept with me"[/sblock]

First: Appologies for the slow response. Had some days now really stufffed with things happening. Back to normal now though!

Then:

Following the old man some distance away from the group, Silvi quitely listen to what he has to say. "So, I am... fiendish?" shuddering, the young woman seems to consider for a few moments. "Well... I guess being able to withstand some fire is a good thing.. Though... Would you tell me if I change more? Please?"

Then again:

Seeing the others "talking" with the fungi man, and then seeming to make a decision to follow it southwards, Silvi smiles at Quinn before heading over, whispering "Thank you.".

"If we are to head out, I have some knowledge of scouting ahead and tracking. I could take the lead. Unless any of you want to, that is."
she looks at the others.

Walking by, with slow step, the wizard speaks to Silvi "Its impossible to tell in this moment. It depends on the strength of your heritage. I suppose time will tell." He huries a bit to reach the others. Quinn cursed his own lack of agility. He triped often in the forest floor, covered with roots and sticks. Now he is free, he wishes to be young again, to be able to live this as his partners do, with the flame of youth in their hearts. He had the feeling that he felt this way before, but for the moment, and the current situation, he couldn't quite tell if it was in his life, or in another one. Sighing, he walked by the others, and with tired eyes he asked Heian "So... does our fellow mushroom understood you finally?"

Neeloo walks up to Heian and takes his hand and holds it tight.

"You think that there are more villages like ours out there? I think there are huge villages hidden around, with great castles with kings and queens. The bigger ones also have dragons sleeping at the top, protecting the people from the shadow creatures" she says with a smile.

"There are also much prettier forests out there, filled with nice animals and magical beings. like feys... and in the middle of the forest, a lake with pure clear water. so pure it glows under the moonlight! There are also flowers everywhere, but at night, the flowers turn into butterflies with fly and glow all around you if you are their friend."

"But "it" is also there...." she finally whispers

Quinn crossed his arms looking at Neeloo for a long time after she finished speaking. "And what exactly produced such amount of creative imagination my child? Did you have a vision of some sort? Did you dream about all those things you described, so lively? Please, enlight me with a reply." the wizard says, with some skepticisms
