"Someone is no one, my dear child. Please speak the truth to me, I will not judge you for that. We suppose to be together in this, any piece of information can prove of incredible relevancy, for our survival." The mage replies tenderly.

"Maybe thats the case holy warrior. If such is the case then, she should consider the impact ti will have on all of us. Her decision to not reveal an important piece of information could doom us all. This you all should have notice so far: We all have lived many lives, sometimes, words of actions trigger some memories from the past. It gave us knowledge, and knowledge is power. If we wish to overcome this quest, and save our town, we must be prepared. And knowing our enemy or our possible allies is a tactic advantage we cannot afford to lose because of shyness." Quinns tired eyes punctuate in both Heidan and Neeloo. For the time he was speaking he seemed to glow with a clear and white light, projecting shadows from his comrades and the tree trunks. The stands, waiting an answer, and the leaves moved around him, pushed by a soft wind coming from Quinn.

Neeloo opens her mouth to speak but no sound come out, she looks down to the ground for a few seconds, she then starts to whisper

"I know you dont want me to tell them... but he's right. hm? I know..."

after a few seconds she looks up to Quinn with an eerie glow in her eyes and says

"They dont want me to tell you"

she then pulls on Heian and walks away

"Stop where you are standing Neeloo. Who don't want you to tell me?" the wizard looks at the others and wave a hand to them. "We must know, we have the right to know. If there is someone or something hunting you, then tell us, we may help you." watching the two of them walking away, Quinn gives a step forward, but vacillates. "Heian hear my words, if you must protect her from something we are not aware of, then its your duty to uncover this mystery. This... this lie." the wizard narrows his eyes, awaiting to see the product of them.

Heian stops walking, leaves Neeloo's hand, turns and walks calmly to face Quinn. I don't like what you're saying, old man. I don't like the way you speak. What gives you the right to say those things, to give orders? You know nothing more than we do. You know nothing of Neeloo. We're all equally in danger. If we need to know something, I'm sure she'll tell us. But don't talk to her like that again. The look in his eyes is calm, but nonetheless intimidating.

Quinn takes a step back, but then he brandish his staf, placing it in front of him "Think before speaking Heian the knight!" the wizard glows again in his withe light "I share the same rights with you all, and one of them is speaking in my behalf, when I sense hazardous attitudes; and there are no orders coming from my lips, there are coincils and advises, its you who decides to hear them or not. If you wish me not to speak to your beloved one, then I will honor your request. I shall not speak, nor listen, nor notice her presence in the future, if thats what you wish from me. You trust her blindly, that is love, and is a beautiful thing. I wish I could trust her the way you do, but I don't, and there is nothing you can do about it, besides telling me the truth" In the last sentence, Quinn looked at Neeloo, with fire in his once tired gaze.

With Quinn's words hanging over the group they depart to follow Champy.

The creature trudges along the forest, tireless podding gait. Silvi ranges ahead and behind of the group, occasionally guiding them away from a difficult path.

At length (two hours or so) you come to a dried out riverbed, and Champy slowly moves down into it, following its course to the southwest.

[sblock=Silvi]You note that the earth has been churned here recently, like a large group passed this way, also heading to the south west.[/sblock]

You follow Champy along the dried out riverbed for almost an hour before you come upon the body. The river that was here seems to have dried out suddenly some time ago, but it was once broad and deep.

The body is out in the sun, a small redish brown creature with lizard like features it is naked save for a crude loincloth. It was killed by a single blow through the chest, probably from a spear. There are wounds around the wrists and ankles.
